This is what I was able to find out:

Our host was been attacked 2 days ago. This is a major crisis...
Here is a message sent to all their customers on Saturday:

"We are writing this letter to inform you that a very targeted
malicious attack took place on our network this morning at 6AM EST.
As a result, most of our server operating systems have been corrupted
resulting in the current downtime. However, we have access to all
backups and have already figured out a strategy for bringing your
servers back up, and have all hands on deck working to restore
service. We will continue sending progress updates, and will be
notifying you personally once your service is restored. We would like
to thank everyone for being so understanding and patient as we work to
bring everything back to normal.

Currently we have backups for the majority of the content and are
working to finalize the restore process. At which point we will be able
to provide more accurate ETAs on service restoration."

Who cares? It's not like there's not loads of porn on the internet that is gratis. The worst bit is that if you need xnxx you have to deal with all the scrotes that come on the forums and 'chat'.

Speaking as an IT professional, this is both good and bad news.
It's good that the NOC notified you, but it's bad that the infrastructure got so borked that it takes multiple days to get services back up and running.
There should always be a backup ready and waiting in the event of catastrophic failure - which this was. For the actual server OS to get thwapped as hard as it did means that there could be an underlying security issue. Whomever owns the domain and pays for the service should sit down with the NOC and iron out a plan to prepare for another event like this.

Thanks for the update I was wandering why I couldn't watch any porn & read the daily sex cartoons. I thought my internet provider (Frontier) blocked the site.
