ok, so i've been looking into a lot of lingerie lately to cross dress with, and i was wondering, how would i measure myself for the bra's? is it the same as women, because every site i find for measuring shows the women already wearing bra's. Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Go into a shop and try some on?

 

i would but the only places that sells any lingerie in my small town is wal-mart and i wouldn't feel comfortable doing that because no one knows that im into cross dressing.

 

Why don't you just buy a few in the size smaller than your sport coat (i.e 44) take them home and try them on, if thay don't fit take them back and just say the wife/girlfriend didn't like them or something...

No not at all. It is becoming more of a thing for men to shop for there mates. No one will think ill of you buying them.

 

thanks, that's why ive been wanting to shop online, i don't want people to think bad of me, i'm way to self conscious to shop for lingerie in a store without a significant other there. Now, another question, i don't have any sex stores in my town, where would you go to buy some lingerie?

 

Well if you want bras you will have to know your size, so just go buy a few at wal-mart. Or you could go to a mens store and get measured or you could just ask your Mom to measure your chest and tell her you are thinking of buying a new suit and need to know your chest size. Then if you want to buy online you could do so thru wal-mart or victorias secrets or any other outlet.

 

ok, well i think i can measure myself, all you need is one of those flexible measurement things right? like the ones they use to tailor suits. (sorry i can't remember then name atm)

 

If you don't have one get a seamstress tape measure one of the cloth type for better accuracy in measurements.

ok, so i measured myself and my chest is right around 40 inches, can anyone help me determine what my cup size is?

 

If you are 40 Inches then I would think possibly c or d cup would be just about right. I would suggest that you get a 40 D that should fit you right nicely, but we want pictures. And be sure to get one of those frilly lacy ones...:excited:

 

i've found a couple deep plunge demi cups and a strapless and balconette i want to get to try out, whenever i make up my mind ill post pictures, they're all 36C that should work for me right?

 

Okay, as a woman... there are particular rules for how to measure yourself to figure out what bra size you are. You can google them if you want. Basically the measurement under or above the bust, is the 36, 38, 40, etc, and the cup size is determined by the difference between this measurement, and the measurement around your chest/bust.

However, this isn't perfect. As the cup size goes up, you can sometimes go down a bit in the number. I think I measure as a 40 F but I fit a 36 H or something like that, as an example.

The best suggestion is to buy a few cheap ones in different sizes and see what works for you. Probably some crossdressers or MtF trans individuals would be able to give you some better advice.

I would say...go in somewhere and say it's your gf or wife's bday and you want to surprise them - as always ask what the return policy is IN CASE they do not like it or the size is wrong!
