    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Hello all. I don't know much about these forums but I'm just curious, does anyone know what's going on with the stories? When the whole thing crashed I was like, "Is it just me? Did I do something wrong?" Now it's sort of back on, that is, I can read stories again but I can't post comments (though someone has posted on one of mine since the crash) and I don't think the ratings of my stories are changing at all. Worse yet, two stories I posted before the crash are no longer up and I seem to be unable to re-post them. Any thoughts?

    Think this site got hammered harder than most people might believe

    I don't know, but I think the hit on the site was so hard that parts like Stories aren't ever going to work right, at least not for a long time. When they did the restore from whatever backup they used, that left a lot of them either back in their previous "Validating" state, or like they were never posted at all. I put 4 stories up before the crash, 3 of them had been validated. When the Stories area came back up, they had disappeared. A search on the screenname came up with "you have not posted any stories" or whatever. Another screenname I use had 5 stories up and being rated/commented, but after the recovery, the last one was back in "validating" and the others were missing some comments.

    Now "they" (mods and admins) have so much work to do that even getting it to something reasonably "current" is going to take a long time.

    Stories are working fine for me. Video are still kinda wonky though but I have other sites for that.
