There are actually multiples topics coming into play... To begin, it seems that clearly the general consensus is to ban and report a pedo who confesses to have molested children. The second issue, however, is should writing about fantasies centered around child molestation be condoned? Personally, I think not for a couple of reason.

Writing about fantasies in a virtually setting is living it... It's also condoning it. On the other hand, discussions related to how harmful child molestation is to the lives of children is not fantasy and should be condoned.

Umm, yeah... I guess some places don't have laws but most countries do have them. Wow, 9 years old. Well, nearly the whole world recognizes that a child is a child under a particular age, whatever it may be, and that children under a particular age lack the mental capacity and emotional maturity to give consent to an adult to have sex with them.

when you learn that there is possibly a victim of a crime and you don't report it, you become just as responsible to what happens to that person (besides aiding and abetting). with child molestation, we are discussing children. they have their whole lives ahead of them. sexual activity with an adult can have extremely harmful affects on girls AND boys, and it's proven that when they grow up that many of them will to some degree do the same.

I don't understand all the emotions on this topic. The question doesn't even define "children". Does it include 17 year olds, under the American age of consent? Does it include 20 year olds, under the Burundi age of consent?
