12 people (myself included) have said they think it's okay to have consensual sex with someone who is 17 years old, or, if it's homosexual sex, 20 years old.

The vote might be different if the poll were about children under the age of 12, or pre-pubescent. But as it stands, it's based on the age of consent, which varies from country to country, state to state.

And, it's not a question of reluctant or forced or even "taking advantage of" sex, because the OP (and the law) doesn't require that. 17 year olds just aren't smart enough to consent, unless they're Canadian 17 year olds.

On the other hand, so many people think internet polls are real, the vote count might stay the same, because pranking internet polls is an easy way to rile up people who take things a little too seriously.
