She was all sweetness. How are you? What's going on in your life? I of course was sure it was a trap. Then she apologized. Apologized for all the crap she put me through. Apparently Jenny got with her brother and it turns out he's not a very nice person. Broken bones type of not nice. Tore the family and families apart.

I was pretty horrified listening to this story. Very surreal standing in front of cereal boxes learning how your highschool sweetheart's life was ruined.

She was sitting on the edge of the seat facing out the door and I was in front of her. She touched my face (a tiny voice in my head said "watch out she's going for your eyes") but she said "After all the horrible things I did to you you can still show me kindness. I see why she loved you."

I'm going to be honest, at that moment I had two very strong urges. The first was to grab her by the neck and throw her out of my truck and drive away. I realized how much I'd lost when Jenny and I broke up and in my mind most of the fault lay directly at Kristen's feet. The other urge was I wanted to kiss Kristen. A lot of their mannerisms were the same. Which is something that happens when people spend so much time together. Given the title of the thread you can guess which urge I indulged.

One kiss led to a summer of amazing passionate sex. Unfortunately it ended rather badly. Unexpected pregnancy, acceptance, loss, sadness. She couldn't look at me.
