PS Don't military veterans get preference when it comes to government tests for employment. Are they all blacks too?

They do not directly talk about "points" per se Stumbler, but that is not even the point I was making. Whether it is 20 or 10 or five or maybe there is no points.... what is being said is that Blacks recieve preferential treatment....The fact they need preferential treatment to get jobs shows how smart they are. ... the use of points was simply continuing the sarchasm of the original poster.

If blacks are given preferential treatment on civil service exams, this is a significant fact that merits documentation. Also, we should know the extent of the preference. 20 points out of 100 is different from 20 points out of 10,000.

There are fields where being black is an advantage. As much as possible lower income black neighborhoods should be patrolled by black police officers, even if it is necessary to accept blacks with lower test scores. It is probably also true that black school teachers are more effective with lower income black students than whites. A friend of mine is a white, Republican of the hard right. He tried teaching in a ghetto public school. The results were unfortunate.

We all have opinions. Opinions based on assumptions that are not true are worthless. Facts matter.

If you were more intelligent than stumbler, you would not have made the spelling errors I drew attention to. By the way, I only do that for abusive posts. :idea:
