Probable micro-nerve and or muscle damage

 

After reviewing my thread, I think the boy probably started studdering because he got kicked in the mouth by a horse when he was younger.

 

Sorry. Don't know what causes studdering or speach impediments.

On the other hand stuttering is usually not neurological but psychological. Perhaps the kick caused sudden shock and trauma. Psychotherapy will help. Put yourself down for a few sessions too, Nurse.

I figure if He wants you to have it, it'll come to you because you deserve it.

He gave us the mountains, the trees, the water and the fertile land. Gave men the ability to make things and grow things.

He put gold and silver, coal and oil under the ground, all man has to do is dig them up. Why I figure that He kind of wants you to help yourself a little, He don't want to do it all.

The whole world could be a better place to live in if everybody would do like I do.

Every morning when I wake up I say I thank you God, for letting me live to see another day and at night when I go to sleep I say Dear God, please let me live to see another tomorrow so I can prove to You that I can be a better man than I have been today. Amen."

I mean, enjoying singing sacred music has nothing to do with having to believe it's meaning.

Tallis' Lamentations of Jeremiah, for example, must be some of the greatest English polyphony ever written, and you certainly don't need to be a believer to enjoy either listening to it or singing it.

Because being kicked in the mouth should not effect that, now a kick in the nuts definitely would.

True, you don't have to be a believer, but merely sipping from the fountain, instead of immersing yourself, is cheating yourself. My choir is more than just a group of singers-we're a family.

Once, when I hung near death's doorstep, they were there for me-in the hospital, and they looked after my car and home. Matter of fact, they've always been there for me.

 

My choir had piss-ups, had dinners at the end of each term, barbecues - the lot. We knew each other damn well.

We simply weren't particularly interested in the religion. We were there to sing, and see each other, and nothing more.

Oh, and cheating myself of what? Transcendental feelings while listening to music have nothing whatsoever to do with religious fervour.
