Actually I feel bad that americans live in a country where they can be shot for expressing their point of view, much like Pakistan, India, Iraq, Iran, Africa, Asia, Croatia and various other 3rd and 2nd world nations.

I haven't been following the news, any update on the Congresswomans' health?

 

My understanding is that she's still in critical condition, but that the swelling in her brain has subsided somewhat, and we're still getting the "cautiously optimistic" mantra from her doctors. She's still responding to simple commands (squeezing a hand, wiggling a toe, etc.). They're going to try to ease her off the ventilator soon, if they haven't already. It remains to be seen what has been damaged in terms of brain function. My husband said he would expect months, even years, of rehabilitation, assuming she survives.

Well you must have a link to some secret Canadian news I do not know about, none of our politicians, as far as I know, have ever been shot while standing in front of a crowd. Nor in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Finland and many other countries..so I doubt it's every country in the world.
