  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

Rincewind is cool but I would kill for ownership of that Box :excited:

Dan Brown is a good author. I loved "Angels and Demons" but wasn't crazy about "The DaVinci Code".

Am reading a bill. Ew boring and scary at the same time:(

No it's a completely different book, but as always Fforde takes you on a weird ride. the next TN book is out in a few months. You also need to read the two Nursery Crimes books, The Fourth Bear and the Big over Easy.

A task well worth taking on, I have read all his books countless times and will read them all again, and again. I suggest you also try Jasper Ffordes books start with the Eyre Affair, you will be surprised and pleased.

You read any of his others? I find he does a bit of Jennifer aniston.. She can only play Rachel from friends... Thats it.

Dan Brown calls the charters different names in the books but there still just Langdon.. Same character diff name.. And its the same twists too in the story.

Yeah his books are alright.. but likes to repeat.. It just me?

Portrait of a Killer by Patricia Cornwell. It's about Jack the Ripper.

I generally like True Crime books, especially those by Anne Rule. Is anyone else a True Crime fan?

Is he a satire author as well? Piers Anthony is another of my favorite satire authors and then there's Douglas Adams of course:excited:

You'd do rincewind? Lol. I'd do Vetinari. Vimes too. Couldn't actually do DEATH, but he might finger pretty well

I'm reading Pratchett right now too. I've read all of them. Reading Unseen Academicals.

How is it? I love Stephen Fry. Have you ever watched any of the comedy skits with him and Hugh Laurie? My favorite of his though might have been as the butler Jeeves.

I used to read a huge amount of books but I kinda lost interest/didn't have time or whatever... Now I'm reading The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. I loved the film so I wanted to compare the book.

I am reading Pratchett's I shall wear midnight

Also Empire of Illusion ,The end of literacy and the triumph of the spectacle by Chris Hedges, which was mentioned on another thread a little while ago.

I generally have two or three books on the go.

Dan Brown, jeez is books are so predictable, with the same "Deus ex machina" in every book, pure ass gravy.

He is Pratchett meets Adams, they are excellent books, full of great witticisms.

As long as I can have Angua, she might be a bit dangerous but hell what a way to go. Or Sally the Vampire and Tawny from "Thud", sorry but Cheery is a little on the short side for me. Oh and I want Death of Rats as a pet.
