You are mixing up a worldwide trend, global warming, with a local weather phenomenon, freezing temperature where you are. One of the consequences of global warming, which is a worldwide phenomenon, is local extremes. Like our rain here in two weeks set a record. Other places cold streaks set a record. Other places hot streaks set a record. But that's what happens when the average temperature around the earth is rising due to humans fucking up the atmosphere with carbon dioxide and other man-made gases.

So don't mix up what's happening to you in your city with what is happening on the average over the entire earth.

 

Climate change.

Natural phenomenon.
