It matters to some and not to others. There's no exact definition of what makes a girl big. Some guys have told me they consider 150 lbs "big" while others have said that 200 lbs is enormous. Avg. weight for a man, at what height, and decade? I have never dated anyone who weighed more then 120 pounds, and the tallest was 5-8. As a BBW, there are some things I've observed.

There is a lot of pressure from society to be not just average, but to be thin. A lot of the pressure originates from the fashion world, where most of the designers are gay men. They like thin to anorexic models (yes anorexic, one just died recently) for 2 reasons. One is that super thin models make great hangers for their clothes. If you've even sewn, you know that dealing with all the curves that a real woman has is a pain! The second reason the gay designers like skinny models, IMHO, is that their bodies look more like little boys - slim hips, no boobs, angular.

Just a little note on designers and why I hate them. One was asked why he didn't design for larger women and he said "I don't upholster furniture".

The other thing that I've noticed is that many sucessful men, or wannabe successful, want a woman that's arm candy. They want a status car, a home in a status zip code and a status woman - one that fits society's norm for beauty. They LIKE IT when a woman is high maintenance. They like to gripe about how much it costs to fix their MERCEDES. It's all show! The thing is, they're so into their career and their image that they don't have a lot of time or interest in sex. If they do, they'll hire a thin hotty from an escort service. These men make HORRIBLE mates, unless of course you're satisfied with money and the things that money can buy.

Eating a nutritious diet (with dessert ), getting exercise and having plenty of sex are good for everbody's health. Do those things and be the weight that you're going to be. Dress nice. Have a nice hair style, wear a little makeup and USE that perfume that you save for special occasions. Be fat and happy. There are lots of nice, well adjusted, sexy guys that would love to take you to bed.
