So, is the consensus of opinion on this forum that regardless of the lack of hard evidence the mods are perfectly entitled to BAN anyone they deem as unacceptable on the basis of what they post in threads?

What if a mod doesn't like the word CUM?

Or objects to the use of the word CUNT?

Maybe one of the mods objects to posts about violence against women?

Maybe they hate NFL threads?

Or even, god forbid, they have no sense of humour and ban people who post JOKES?

As i said in one of my earlier posts, a dangerous precedent has been set here and all it can do is lead us all down a very undemocratic path.

The ONLY way I can see for this issue to be resolved is for ALL stories (including the stories forum) and threads on the subjects of underage sex are BANNED AND REMOVED immediately. At least then, albeit 'after the horse has bolted' there would be a level of consistency from which to go forward. Then, and only then wouyld people be deterred from making such idiots of themselves.

Oh, one last thing: why hasn't a mod commented on this thread? I would have thought some sort of explanation was in order, surely?

 

That precedent was set a long time ago.
The administrators have a very few hard, and fast rules on content, and seeing as how it is their site, they can make whatever rules they want.
I'll tell you the same thing that I tell people who scream about how this place is full of pedophiles, if you don't like it, leave.

The point I've been trying to make is that the mods banned this guy WITHOUT A SHRED OF HARD EVIDENCE. The law of the land demands that evidence is produced and proved before a conviction can be made, yet in this 'closed society' a kangaroo court can sit and pass judgement with impugnity. Surely, that is morally wrong?
