in the past we suggested concessions, one that stories labeled as true be treated as such and held accountable. we even made the concession to leave the ones labeled fiction alone. the writers where asked to police there own. this was to much for them.

it would also give the sites authors more credibility and less liability

this thread started off with absolutely nothing to do with stories. it had to do with someone making claims to have abused children....yes he should be banned, i think we are all adults and I think anyone that claims to have molested a child under 18 when they are over......using site guidelines to make it internationally fair should be banned. nobody forced them to make this statements.

Look Kay, honestly I agree with you about the original topic. I think that he really was asking to be banned, but DMP is a good friend of mine. I appologise if I snapped, but I am sick of all the arguments about stories. Honestly, there are a lot that I find distasteful on the sites, and I also dislike stories with pedophillia as the subject matter. What I am tired of however, is the people that try to get whole topics banned one second, then argue for freedom of speech or expression in the next.

As for name calling, I agree. I despise name calling, but at the same time, labelling anyone that writes a story about pedophillia as a pedophile, with the full intent of applying all the social stigmas that come with it, is far worse than name calling. I realize that you did it to prove a point, but calling DMP a pedophile still lit a fire under me, and it is still not the same as calling another a childish name such as the morality brigade.

I honestly have no other quarry with you Kay, I will admit that there is still a grudge for the way that you spoke to my friend, but I do not wish to argue, and if you are being truthful with your last post, I have no more reason to disagree with you other then what I have written above.

Murder is the act of murdering someone, you are not a murderer unless you murder another living being.

Crime - the act of committing a criminal offense.


Pedophilia requires absolutely no action. It is a psychological condition and potentially a disorder, it is a disease of the MIND.

To compare what you are suggesting with people that write underage sex stories, people would have to be accusing the writers of being child molesters, not pedophiles.

Child molestation - the act of molesting a child, and being a pedophile is not a prerequisite for being a child molester.


If someone is writing a murder story from the perspective of the murderer and glorifying it, they quite likely may qualify as having a mental disorder that would be more comparable with pedophilia.

That is a fair comparison, what you're suggesting is not.




Note that I am not siding with the people that are so adamantly against pedophiles on here, just arguiing objectively for the sake of logic and reason.

Being a pedophile does not make a person a criminal or a "bad" person. If that person embraces their urges, acts on them, or crosses the line, that can make them a bad person.
