What part of "animals can't consent to sex with humans" do you not understand? If an animal seeks sex with you it's only because they are biologically driven to reproduce. Not only are you taking advantage of that for your own pleasure but you're cheating them. The only reason animals have sex is to reproduce, and you're denying them that. I'm not saying that uncontrolled populations of animals are a good thing, but it's not fair to them to use that imperative of theirs just so you can have sex with them. Do you truly care about an animal's pleasure as though she were your life partner? Something tells me not. So fuck off and go find yourself a human girlfriend (not a child, though, as something tells me that someone who fucks animals would have no qualms about taking advantage of a trusting child).

There's a difference between a person disagreeing with you and a person not understanding what you're saying. Unless you can explain why an animal can't consent to sex as much as it can consent to anything else, your statement is simply wrong.

Your point seems to be that animals don't actually enjoy sex, therefor it's unfair to take advantage of their instinctual drive to seek out sex. That would be a valid argument, except for the fact that there's no reason to believe that animals don't enjoy sex. They certainly act like they do, and what else is there to go on other than that behavior? You could just as easily argue that animals don't "enjoy" food; they're just biologically driven to eat. Or that animals don't "enjoy" being petted; they're just biologically driven to seek out physical contact, and so on.

In general, making up "facts" isn't a good basis for presenting a convincing argument.

 

Without trying to "make up facts"...I'd argue that we do have evidence that animals (perhaps outside of the Great Apes as an exception) don't "enjoy" sex. Now I don't mean to say that they find it dis-pleasurable, but the fact that 1) they don't seek sex outside of procreation except in very rare instances and 2) they don't attempt to prolong the sexual act (in other words when the male ejaculates, that's it) and 3) they don't display creativity in their sex, all point to sex amongst animals being for procreation only and not sheer enjoyment.


So to answer the OP.. it's sick because animals can't consent to sex as they lack communication skills on par with humans.

 

Then why does my dog when she is in heat attempt to get out the door. Stick her butt in every male dogs territory, and hump anything that does not move.? If this is not consent when she goes nosing or assing up the neighbors dog...it's at least a form of communication. Just because we can't understand it...does not mean the Mr. Male dog can't. Do you think your animal understands when you tell your wife or girlfriend "let's fuck" ? Maybe they see that as non consensual...since they don't understand.

 

Re. point #1: It's generally believed that animals have no concept of the fact that sex results in procreation. Therefor, as far as animals know, all sex is "outside of procreation." Also, many animals (not just apes) masturbate, and engage in homosexual sex of various types--presumably because they just like it.
Re. point #2: In other words, male animals are pretty much like most human males -- which proves that they don't enjoy sex?
Re. point #3: Animals show about as much creativity in their sex as in anything else they do.
And re. your final point, according to that, it would be "sick" to have sex with anyone who doesn't speak your native language as well as you do, regardless of how clearly that person is capable of communicating "I want [or don't want] to have sex with you."

So in summation, you're still just making up facts to support your unreasoning visceral reaction. If you want to say "EW!", just say "EW!" and leave it at that. Don't pretend you have facts and logic on your side when you don't.

#1.….Well if you think about it, he may not realize that estrus and sex leads to cubs. He may just think that she wants privacy…..or that times are too lean to support a living cub right now and maybe in 7 months or so (give or take) times may be better suited (don‘t get me wrong I‘m not an expert on bears but I do know this is a habit of wolves)

#2 .…I really don’t think this was pure sarcasm because there are a great many human males who do follow the “I Came, I‘m Done” lifestyle. Besides just because they don’t prolong it doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy it. You have to keep in mind that every animal is venerable in that position, also just because dogs, horses or any other animal we may be discussing are possibly domesticated doesn’t mean they are going to ignore centuries of survival instincts.

Your posts, to me suggest, that you’d be 100% vegan (well, to the best of your ability), and not consume, wear or use anything containing animal products (including makeup from your lip gloss to concealer)... but strangely enough, I very much doubt this to be the case.

Regardless of how I actually feel about the OP’s question, if you’re all up and arms about the animal rights issue of this topic, but you support the abuse and death of animals caused through the use of animal products (bi products included) for any reason, you are as far as I’m concerned, nothing but a hypocrite.
