That is not racism, you just don't like stupid people. And that means, that you are not racist, you are just smart. Stupidity arrives in all height packages, colors, hair length and shoe size.

 

Last thing I am is a racist but I think when people are paying for a service they should be able to understand who they are talking to. I don't think it matters who you are or what race you are if I can't understand you when you speak you can't help me. But I think the worse are people who have speech impediments because it is not like the Vietnamese girl at work who constantly improves her English, they (and we) will forever suffer from vaious levels of dribble. But not only as a customer do you sometimes deal with people behind the counter going on about something, but actually working in the workplace. You get gatherings of people who speak the same dialect and they prefer to use this dialect of the tongue of the country you are living in. You feel isolated in the work place for not speaking their dialect. Its wrong.

 

When they do that to me I talk to them in Spanish to let them know I know what the hell they are talking about. If they keep doing it I talk to them in French, Korean, Russian or German. I speak just enough of the last three too really fuck with their heads (basically, 'hello where is the bathroom', 'I want a beer' type stuff)

 

Yeah, when I'm upset with someone I talk Xcebian. They think I'm having an epileptic episode and try to stick things in my mouth to keep me from biting my tongue.

Then they see what passes for a tongue in what passes for my mouth, and as a rule I don't have to deal with them after that.

The particular annoyance you feel at people making fatuous, nonsensical statements about your own ethnic background, are likely only ever to come from people of other ethnic backgrounds. Consequently, the OP probably gets pissed at people from other ethnic backgrounds a lot more often than he does at people from his own.

Which does look like racism until you remember WHY you get pissed at them.
