xnxx.com are relying on users of the site to report the bad apples.

I honestly don't think the site has enough volunteers to do their dirty work. Members of xnxx are relied upon to report what they find offensive, failure to do so means the stories will remain indefinitely. It takes accountability away from certain people and makes a mockery of announcing that particularly themed stories are being removed and no longer accepted.

I hate that they removed the stories, but i don't want to see anyone arrested for what is just entertainment.

Then again, if the stories were just removed for cp reasons, then I hate that everything MY country stands for got spat on in it's removal (free speech, thinking of the individual and not just mass opinion)

 

Maybe we should just ban all stories which depict sex unless it is between a married man and woman who are having sex in the missionary position, in the dark, underneath at least four blankets, while praying to Jesus, for the sole purpose of reproduction.

 

Very few stories were actually removed... perhaps 100 out of how many? Probably less but it could be more we would have to ask the admins...

 

It is up to each of us to police the stories site. There certainly is too much work for one admin to do by himself.

It would appear that the era of prohibition against naughty writings on XNXX may be over.

The front page of the sex stories section no longer has any rules on the age of fictional story characters. The "report" button has also vanished.

The old introduction endorsing "on the edge" stories which may "hurt sensibilities" has returned.

 

there weren't that many in the boy section to start with though ;-; i found like 3 good stories with kids in it, 2 by the same author. years ago, when i first joined, i mean. i joined BECAUSE of those stories.

 

When you click on Submit Text, there are guidelines. There is one in BOLD that starts Do nit post PEDO stories...so I'm pretty sure the rules remain in effect.

Too many unforeseen consequences. The reporting mechanism was too politicized; it was more about writers reporting each other for personal gain than cleaning up the site; as CJ has mentioned, only 100 or so stories were removed, total (search this site on Google for the age of your choice, whatever it is, and you will find it).

Most importantly, too many writers were driven away. Sure, a few authors of pedophilia left in a huff, after having their own stories removed in protest. But the "ban" did much more than that. A great many authors who do not write pedophilia left, too, purely out of principle. They came here in the first place because it was uncensored. They left when that status changed.

Then again, the admins could just be clearing the page for construction of an even more powerful "ban hammer....."

i honestly can't see how people say that i am dangerous because i read cp stories (as well as multiple other themed stories, including non-erotica romance)

but then turn around and then say that it's okay to have stories where people are raped.

:/ it's singleing people who read cp stories out and saying "well yes other authors can control themselves, but you can't because i said so"

 

I am just one of those intransigent authors who adheres to an increasingly meaningless term called freedom of expression. I don't get involved in who reads what and why. For me, it is all about the principle that no one should be able to control the thoughts in my head.
