Keep in mind that there could be local laws that force the site owners to regulate certain topics. Also, advertising could play a major role. You don't see the ads here or in the stories section, but they are present in other areas and are how this site pays for itself and makes the owners a profit. If a major advertiser says "hey, we don't want to advertise if such and such is present at the site" then the site owners get put in a difficult position.

I'm not looking to defend censorship, nor the site owners. It's a privately owned site, they can do what they want, people can stay, people can go, etc. Just trying to provide some possible explanations.

 

Yeah, it may be temporary, we'll have to wait and see. In the meantime I'll write and submit whatever strikes my fancy and see what does or does not happen.

Sometimes one only needs to change a single sentence or word of a removed story to resubmit it.

 

I doubt it's a legal problem. As I understand it, the company is based in the Netherlands and the servers are in the U.S.. Young people having sex is a common theme in the media of these countries and isn't illegal.

I would also find it hard to believe it's a problem with their advertisers. They aren't exactly reputable mainstream corporations worried about what their customers might think. Most of the advertisements here are for porno websites and dick growing pills.

One of the porno websites advertised here the other day featured "Teenaged babysitters". I'm sure the models were 18 but they could easily pass for 14 year olds. They were petite girls with small breasts, shaved pussies, wearing braces, ponytails and "Hello Kitty" tee shirts.

I understand that teenagers shouldn't have sex. I know I didn't until I was 18, but I was an odd ball. I also know it's wrong for incest,rape,murder,crime,etc. I also have never done any of those things. I am a good girl. I have never been in trouble with the law.However, just cuz you write a story about any of them doesn't mean you are doing those things. These stories are FICTION and it means just that. People write stories cuz they are hot to read and it helps people to cum while reading them. It's a PORN site. I believe incest is hot to read, but I wouldn't do it in real life. My current story however is for 16 and I was told to make it to 18. So how do I explain punishing an 18 year old? It's all fiction and fake, especially since I don't even have a brother. Can anyone help me out here? One person told me it had to be 16, and I read the forum rules and it said they had to be 16 at least. Now I had a lady tell me it has to be 18. My other story already got published but I already had changed the age to 16 before posting it, but some of one of my stories actually partly happened to me, how can I not post the under age part when I was under age and I would like to tell people about it? I just don't want banned, I like this site. Anyone please let me know. Thanks

The "unofficial" guideline is 16 but getting the admin to commit to a hard and fast rule is harder then holding onto a greased pig. As of now I would say you could stick with 16 unless it was a mod who told you to change it, then its up to you I guess.I guess they don't want to make it an officially sanctioned rule about age in case they wish to change it tomorrow

The talk of freedom of expression and such is meaningless as it is a privately owned site and if they want to forbid stories with red headed stepchildren they can. Enforcing any ban is another issue as there is no way they examine every story but that is another story.

As far as advertisers, I agree with a previous post. I don't think the teen babysitter porn site and the penis growing pill suppliers are very concerned. Legal liability would be the reason they do things the way they do I would surmise.

One thing, for reassurance: you won't be banned. Ever. People don't get banned here. Well, they do, sometimes, but only if they threaten to hack someone up with a machete. The worst that could possibly happen is they'll pull your story down. Big deal.

I have no idea what the minimum ages are, mainly because I don't write stories anymore. This place is changing as is the world we live in. I write poetry here exclusively and some of my stuff is on another forum (not porn, mind you) because someone tried to steal my work.

Do what you wish with respect to age, in a literary sense. As long as I don't read it I don't care that it exists. Tag your work correctly so people can avoid or find the subjects they wish to. I sincerely think this ban was fueled by people coming across untagged stories and being so turned on that they couldn't click the back button because their fingers were slippery

I can't speak for the other mods, but I don't see any reason to ban someone for posting a story that falls under the guidelines. Story removal and a warning should suffice. However, should said author continue to push the envelope, buh bye.

 

There are no guidelines. There was a reference to "clearly pedophile" stories and I and others asked how that was defined but now that's gone.

There is a thread, if you know about it with 16 as the minimum age for a character to have sex but now with "clearly pedophile" gone how can censorship based on a thread a writer may well not know about be justified?

Indeed with clearly pedophile gone why should it be there anyway?

If the owners want, as has been said many times by our high principled fellow porn loving Moral Minority- ites they can, to impose age based,or any,censorship then can they please put it on the front page so we all know the rules, right from the word go.

I don't bother any more but Pedo is open to interpretation and when that is defined on an age basis regardless of whether an older person (male presumably) is involved or both parties are youngsters "discovering their sexuality" then I think its a bit unfair.
