Fallacy: Ad Hominem

I take facts very seriously. When has one of my facts been refuted? I would like for someone to post the web address of a comment where one of my facts has been refuted, and the number of the comment. Keep in mind that shouting "Racist!" at me is not a refutation. It is an example of the ad hominem fallacy.

Your 'facts' have been sufficiently debated, and you have been proven wrong,, but you have never been able to acknowledge it.

I have never asserted that their is one gene that dictates black's relative stupidity and criminality. The persistence of you and others to claim that I have is either a result of poor reading comprehension on your part, or an example of the straw man fallacy.

The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and substitutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version of that position. This sort of "reasoning" has the following pattern:

1. Person A has position X.
2. Person B presents position Y (which is a distorted version of X).
3. Person B attacks position Y.
4. Therefore X is false/incorrect/flawed.

This sort of "reasoning" is fallacious because attacking a distorted version of a position simply does not constitute an attack on the position itself. One might as well expect an attack on a poor drawing of a person to hurt the person.

What I have said is that the facts that blacks have higher crime rates and lower average IQs everywhere in the world certainly indicates genetic differences, which I expect to be demonstrated with the discovery of genes for crime and intelligence. I have been careful to point out that those genes have not been discovered yet.

When I asked 69magpie if he thought the government should prevent scientific research to find those genes he said yes. That certainly suggests that he agrees with me that the genes exist.
