But on a serious note, when Diesel was up to $5 a gallon and I still owned my truck it made for some serious sweating at the end of each month, especially when there were fewer mills accepting loads and the pay per load was the same as it was in the late 80's. Being able to haul 6 loads a day compared to sometimes 2 or 3 made for some serious tightening of the belt ( on top of it I was driving a 97 F350 Crummy as well). With the fuel prices in B.C. though, I'd probably find something a little more fuel efficient...

I got a new car in August 2010.

 

i had the 170bhp, dashboard flashed like a bandit hitting the jackpot to often had a lot of DPF problems with it..

 

Brace for more high prices.The price of regular unleaded is suppose to jump to five bucks a gallon by the middle or end of summer so diesel will be even more I feel bad for ownwer opperators who have to pay thier own fuel costs. I have to pay for mine but its unleaded and my vehichles get alot better milage than trucks do.

 

ouch, that's no bueno. I haven't had any issues show up as yet, but I've been told to keep my eyes open. I wish I had gotten the 170BHP though.:excited:

Oh sorry to hear. Still I would never want to give someone unnecessary ammunition just in case things get ugly down the road. The opposite sex seems at times to have that effect on one another.
