  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

I wanted to go back there someday. But I don't think there will be anything to go back to. It's a small nation.

My background is Christian, they don't affect (or speak for)me, but I think I get your point; I tend to ignore or refute those that profess to know God's will when it comes to `acts of God'.

The 8.9-magnitude earthquake which ravaged Japan and sparked a tsunami is the largest quake to ever hit the country, an Australian expert says.

Kevin McCue, a seismologist and adjunct professor at Central Queensland University based in Canberra, said seven earthquakes over magnitude eight had rocked Japan since 1891.

In 1923 a 7.9-magnitude earthquake killed 147,00 people, Mr McCue said.

But the massive 8.9-magnitude quake on Friday superseded all of them.

"Our expectation is that many people will be killed and there will be extensive damage," Mr McCue said in a statement.

That is why I said the ones on t.v. There are some nice ones. Rare but they exsist. I don't mean to try to change the subject to religion. Has anyone heard anymore updates?

    Probably power outages.

Tokyo Electric shut seven reactors at its Fukushima Daiichi and Daini atomic plants while three reactors at Tohoku Electric’s Onagawa station were halted, the trade ministry’s Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said in the e-mailed statement. Japan Atomic Power. shut the No. 2 reactor at its Tokai plant, the agency said.

FoElectric Power Development Co. shut its 600-megawatt No.2 unit of Isogo coal-fired plant in Yokohama.

More than four million homes serviced by Tokyo Electric are without power following the quake, Daisuke Hirose, a spokesman for the utility, said today by phone.

(Reuters) - A fire broke out at Tohoku Electric Power Co's (9506.T) Onagawa nuclear plant in northeastern Japan following Friday's major earthquake, Kyodo news agency said.

Prior to the Kyodo report, the company had said it had not received information on whether there had been any problems at the nuclear power plant after the disaster.

Separately, Fukushima Prefecture, the site of a Tokyo Electric Power (9501.T) nuclear power plant, said on Friday the plant's reactor cooling system was functioning, denying an earlier report that it was malfunctioning.

Japanese media reported that the government had decided to declare a nuclear power emergency situation, which occurs if there is confirmation of radioactivity leaks from a nuclear power plant or a reactor cooling system breaks down.
