even if you claim YOU never heard a woman actually say this in
general terms, many of them do, and it's kind of a popular motto
for women that i've noticed. other men i've known have said they
heard it as well from women.

i've dated women who say this about men and i wonder "why are you
dating me then?".
i've known and/or dated women who were strippers and/or made/acted
in porn movies who have said this. which seems even more
confusing to me.

please don't say that i am generalizing because i did not say most
women say this. i am saying SOME have, being that i am aware that
some women don't say this and some don't hate men.

but i have even seen married women say this. yet i don't recall
any men say this about women, they may complain about them but
i don't hear them say this about them.

can someone clear this up for me?

I have read that as many as one out of seven women in the United States is raped at least once. That probably has something to do with it. Also, if a man gets a woman pregnant, and leaves her as soon as she tells him about it, that could generate some bitterness, that might be directed against all men. This would be particularily true if she was reluctant to have sex with him in the first place, perhaps because she was a virgin.

 

Simple really men suck in bed

 

Maybe it has something to do with the men they've been with...that would be the most obvious reason.

 

It's very simple...some women's experience with men has basically been limited to scumbags. That particularly explains the attitudes of prostitutes and strippers, since they run into a much higher percentage of scumbags than you would find in the general population.

 

Women may be more likely to say it with words, while some men say it with their fists. Particularly hateful are the ones whose mouths say "I love you" while their actions say something else entirely.

Because they have reason to?
There are bad men out there and that can taint a person's view.

some men hate women. they may not say it, but their actions sure speak louder

 

They haven't met me yet.

 

In my case I'm sure I've said it out of frustration and because I was focused on one or two men I was having trouble with at the time. I don't really hate all men but at the time I had more experiences with bad men than good and it sure felt like I did.

 

My parents taught me to never hit a girl under any circumstances. The lesson stayed with me. A man who uses violence on a woman, particularly a woman who loves him, has my abject contempt.

I hate men who physically hit women
I hate men who rape women
I hate men who abuse their wives
I hate men who treat women as "sex objects" when women don't want to be treated like this
I hate men that believe it is okay to emotionally and verbally degrade women
I hate the man that raped me, my cousin, my friend, my classmate, my friend's mother


Is that enough or should I go on?
Sorry there are a lot of men in this world that give women a good reason to hate men...

I give every person a chance until they prove me other wise as being a good person.

 

I wish I could clear this up, but unfortunately I can't.

I would also like to know the winning numbers in the Euro lotto, but again, unfortunately, I don't.

And before you think I'm being blase' about this, I know it has nothing to do with gender-specifics.

I have heard females say "I hate men!!" but they're never happy with the alternatives, either. And those alternatives are: become a lesbian, become celibate.

This, therefore, leads me to think that the 'hating of men' is aimed at a particular male, instead of the male population.

Just as an aside; does this not transfer over to the males, as well? I mean, do they not also say 'I hate women' when they've had their little biddy hearts broken?

 

When a woman acknowledges that she has been raped, I feel the need to apologize on behalf of my entire sex.

Rape is not something I would be physically capable of. I would not get aroused in a situation like that.

Or let us say, I would not get an erection. It is a liberal dogma, defended by invective rather than reason, that rapists are not motivated by sexual desire.

Sure, unless they have that "grinch" size heart, then they hate everything, to include Whovillans and roast beast.

 

I haven't done any of these because of how I was brought up.

There are some purely coldhearted guys in the world and I work with a lot of them. My boss's husband is abusive too. I'd like to take her aside and say that she shouldn't tolerate his alcoholism and insults, but I couldn't possibly know the whole dynamics of the situation.
