There have been numerous sex studies conducted by people who know or are paid to know. They have done some extensive measuring. Going back to the Kinsey report from back in the 1950's, to the Masters&Johnson Survey of the 1980's and so many others. The Average size of an adult male is from 5 to 5 1/2 inches. There are very few monstercocks. Of course most men on line will lie. I have visited a lot of sexual websites and most guys will tell you the average size is 6 to 7 inches. Absolutely not true. From what I recall, the nurse wasn't measuring penises with a tape measure or anything like that. Whatever it was that needed to cover the penis came in 3 different sizes. Most men required the 5" size. Again, I don't recall the details, but remember what he was saying in his post made sense adn was surprised that the average size was much closer to 5" than it was 6".

I don't recall much at all concerning teh measurement of dead bodies, except that it was a medical study...and didn't have volunteers skewing the results.

I'd post links to studies to support average penis size (USA) being much closer to 5" than 6", but don't have enough posts to do so.

I'm not here to argue or aid you in making yourself look like an ass either...I just wanted to let the original poster know that he's closer to average than he realizes and that there's nothing to worry about.

I have never heard that the way to accurately measure a penis was to make sure the man it was attached to was dead first.

I said this in another thread: I, personally, have never met a guy in person who had less than 6". Just saying.

For someone to say that 5.25" is the "average" is just insane. I'd like to know where this huge swath of guys with a 4" dick are.

From what I've seen? I'd say that a ton of guys fall in the 7" give or take range. Many are larger, some are smaller, but very few are 5" or less. That's "hold it with two fingers" kind of small.

Go ahead, look around the web. You'll find studies that say the average is less than what you have, no matter who you are. If this makes you feel better about your penis size, great. That still has absolutely nothing to do with the validity of the study.

What this MAY mean, in YOUR experience, is that you have been "lucky" enough to only have "met" men who are in the upper 15th to 16th percentile. That is certainly possible, especially if you are talking about a small number of men (maybe 3 to 5) the likelihood of having sex with a large number of partners and never run into a man with a penis smaller than 6 inches is extremely unlikely, however.
