I'd say I like to Time Travel.. Wanted to back my past life and watch my younger me and observed.

 

Hm.... Time travel first, then move so far into the future the universe collapses back in on itself, starting anew. Then I travel forward to kill Hitler, but end up missing and accidentally shoot Winston Churchill. Realizing my mistake, I again travel forward in time so far the universe restarts, this time making sure to kill Hitler for reals.
After that I move to the point in time where I was given the choice between time travel and space travel, and merge with myself at that exact moment. Then I choose space travel. Now that I have knowledge of infinite time and (presumably) infinite space, I inexplicably end up before Yog Sothoth whereupon the swirling prismatic orbs cause my particles to decay into maximum entropy.

as for time(as we know it) I think "space" travel, as I might screw something up in the past that could affect the future, even my very existence!

 

Yes I must agree with Drew. We already are essentially space/time travelers right now. The only exception is that while we are capable of moving through all of space, time, ahehe, for the time being, flows in only one direction.

i also wanna see certain bands live that i will never be able to see live
in current times like the beatles.
see when mankind first started existing on earth.
withness major famous crimes to see what really happened.

 

i don't know if i wanna see the future.

i don't think i would altar major events if i could, may make things
worse.

my main thing for space is to find other life, if i don't then i might
get tired of sight seeing.
then again the more cool planets i see the more i may have to find
other life. any life.

 

The problem with Space Travel is it takes so damn long to get anywhere ... even near the spead of light it is 4 years to the nearest Star .....
..............So time travel is the only logical choice ...
........................ as for me... I would travel forward in small increments ... I wouldn't want to stumble into humanity,s annihilation.

and just because you travel in time does not mean you can't choose to
be unseen, felt, or heard.

 

I hate it when people try to cite loopholes allowing them to choose both choices.
Time travel, end of story! With todays telescopes we can see a pretty good amount of space plus it's easier/quicker to find interesting stuff time travelling.

who says you can't travel by some form of physical telepathy?
or have a space ship that moves fast enough to get you there in
normal time at times when you are not sight seeing along the way
and just wanna hurry and get to a destination.

i would probably go to where there is another sun like ours, and see
if there is a planet within the same distance as earth to that sun.
if i see water on that planet then i will land if there is land.
most likely there is life since there is water.

 

Light speed, the problem therein is that light, to my knowledge moves extremely fast, any amount of matter moving at that speed would burn up.

There is a mathematical formula out there.
So unless the ship has some sort of force field that prevents it from burning up, traveling at the speed of light would be suicidal.

Unless you suggesting travel via worm hole. Or we can 'fold space".. but we have no Spice to do that.. so..
Space travel is a moot point.

Traveling back in time people seem to forget the bad things that were prevelant in the "good ol' days".. like dying from a cold, people had a poor concept of hygiene, there were no standards for food production.
AND, consider that the slightest possible action you make, ANY interference could result in a change to the future. Could you stand by and watch Jews being carted off to Poland? Could you simply observe the massacre of the Cathars?..

Travelling forward in time could also create a paradox.. For if you are aware of what is going to happen would you negate the bad things that would happen by forwarning everyone, thus negating any good that resulted from the bad experience?

To travel through time you must have complete morale apathy and the ability to keep you mouth shut.
