OLD QUESTION, NEVER WILL BE LAID TO REST.

i would chose TIME TRAVEL. as some said here, to not only observe
myself at certain moments. but, to be able to switch places,
without anyone noticing anything odd about me.

i will also do things much differently too.
i would love to go back to certain schools,
to meet/see certain friends,

to pursue a much more rewarding career, than the one i have,
try even harder in breaking into the music industry.
stay a teenager FOREVER and pay ABSOLUTELY NO BILLS !!!!.

bring back MTV the way it was IN THE BEGINNING. bring back
HEADBANGER'S BALL in 24/7 syndication.

go see all the HARDROCK/METAL SHOWS of my favorite bands.
play a role in my favorite HORROR, COMEDY, SCI-FI, ACTION movies.

be one of the greatest poetry writers', so i wouldn't have to work.
or writers' in general.

grow up as a teen, in any famous rich/dynasty/blueblood family
in U.S./WORLD HISTORY and do it all over again.

intervene slavery/sexism/ assinations of KING, KENNEDYS', LINCOLN,
W.W.II, racism.

as someone has already said, go back to the hippie love days.
although, i was not born or thought of yet ( PROBABLY )
just the thought of, going home with a girl and having sex together. just to see what was that like.

prevent both the shuttle disasters' and most of all, 9/11 from happening.

all of us here, can go on and on. but, where does it stop ?. or does it
go on CONTINUOUSLY ?.

 

I'd choose time travel, primarily to go to the future to see what new technology will be developed. (Can't see my future due to the fact that I wouldn't be here to make it)

 

Time travel would be my vote. Go back knowing what I know...damn...the money that could be made in stocks and currency trading. And we all know what money can buy:excited: You guessed it...COMIC BOOKS! Or lots of sex...

Time travel makes a cool syfy movie but it is impossible. So given a choice, I'd go with real space travel.

 

I'd like to time travel to a point in time when space travel is more convenient and cheaper and then go to some civilization in space that has more advanced time travel to go back in time to a simpler time without the worry of doing something that will disrupt the space-time continuum to the point where neither space travel or time travel is ever invented, resulting in my never having been able to go through time in the first place.

the first shuttle disaster happen when i was in high school. we were
out on lunch period. as we were interring our drafting class, one of the
kids said his mom called him, and told him the shuttle blew up.

we thought he was joking. we all got mad and wanted to kick his ass.
but, the teacher confirm it. our bus driver told us the same story.
we still couldn't believe it.

when i had gotten home, i i immediately turned on the t.v.. sure enough, the tape was on looped. just showing the lift off and the horrific
explosion. MAN, that made me messed up inside for awhile.

the second one, i was at work when that one took place. that felt
like a slap in the face. don't mean to sound like a soft person.
but, you just don't think of stuff happening like that.

not even the 9/11 incident.

 

The last time I was stoned was when I accidentally walked through a plaza where an Islamic adulteress was being executed....

 

Definitely time travel. I'd love to go back in time and see how it really was and then go to the future to see where we're haeded!!

you're right, you don't think of stuff happening like that, that's why
you stopping those events could change the course of events
into something worse that you are not thinking of.
flip sides happen.
just like with 9/11, people assume that's the worst thing that could
ever happen until something worse happens, then they will be like
"oh my god, i can't believe that happened".

 

i hate when that happens.
