Hi I am female and for some reason my sex drive has gone up more then a notch to the point that its becomeing a problem. There were some nights where I couldn't sleep for 30 hours. I was so horney the strangest things turned me on. One night I was in one of those moods and I was at a friends place. It was hot so she suggested I put a cold bottle under my feet. Something about the shock of the cold on my feet nearly brought me to orgasm though there was nothing sexual about it. I also found simply walking made me aware of a rubbing between my legs that I wouldn't notice before. This seriously turned me on. Is this normal? I have tried masterbating everynight to combat my problem. But sometimes that is not enough and I am not the kind of girl that likes to sleep around. I have tried fuck buddies but none of them have ever brought me to orgasm or satisfied my need of constant sex. Often being unavailable. I'm afraid to have to many fuck buddies. And am unexperienced with trying to find one. I don't know how to seduce a guy and like I said I don't want to be a slut

 

That's an interesting problem to have Desiree. At 49 years old I still have a very high sex drive and sometimes sex is all I think about. However, I'm not is the same league as you. I wouldn't go out and start fucking every guy around because as you stated you don't want to be labeled a slut and also there's the chance of contracting an STD. I don't know how old you are, if you're a mature woman maybe you are startng the change of life and have a hormone imbalance that's causing your problem. If you're young, you still may have a hormone imbalance and might want to make an appointment with your doctor to find out what's going on. I hope this helps!

 

Actually I am 24 and have always had a high sex drive. I have only been feeling this way in the last year. I am embarrased to see my doctor about it and kind of am afraid that if he does something to reduce it that I will loose my sexdrive alltogether. I like having a high sex drive just not to the point where it causes problems and frustrations. but yeah your right ill see the doctor about it and see what he says. thanks

yeah thanks and xiara it just came out of the blue though I am takeing medication and moodstabilisers for depression and bipolar traits. I just recently changed medication due to when the old one stopped working I wonder if it has anything to do with that?

 

There are cases of hyper sexual activity. Seeing a Dr would be the best thing to do. But yes meet with one that you are comfortable with and always get a second opinion. Perhaps one may offer a prescription that does curb the sex drive but another may have a more natural approach. Perhaps its even something as simple as a change in diet or as physical and complicated as a with that woman in the car accident.

As xiara stated its not a gift as many would perceive it as being. All the guys out there thinking "oh ya!!!" should try to relate and think about how frustrating this symptom can be. They should look at it this way as well.. they would never be enough for a woman with these symptoms.

Anyways I'm sorry you're going through such changes. Hopefully its temporary and that your sex drive levels off. As for the worries of being a slut. In reality a slut is just someone that craves sex. Nothing wrong with that as long as you're at peace with it. You don't need to flaunt your desires with everyone you can still enjoy it behind closed doors.

I think if there's a chance that it could be the medication, then the doctor might get you to switch drugs and see if it helps/stops the hyper-horniness. So it's definitely worth seeing a doctor.

 

yeah quin thanks at least I havent been having sleepless nights lately though a few weeks ago I was so turned on it brought me to tears. I went to the pub determined to pick up a guy any one at all. luckily for my inexperience that didn't happen but it was just crazy how I reacted to it.

 

I hope for your sake too, PCOS can be really bad, I only have it lightly, I just happen to be one of the rare ones that it affect the sex drive. In some women they end up in the hospital.

 

oh and villans wife I dont think I have that condition what I notice is that my sex drive goes from high wanting to masturbating everynight can settle it to moderate where I just want to have sex and I have to keep myself from picking up that cute guy infront of me to severe where masturbation doesnt help I have to have a man and I just cant think or concentrate on anything but getting one. the night when I felt that way and was set on picking up a guy at the pub. I saw some old friends there and the sad thing was I couldnt have fun all that I could think of was having sex when what I really should have been doing is having a good time

 

Yeah, and it wouldn't have just started, you would have been suffering from the time you had your first menstrual cycle. It is a horrid feeling though, like you don't have a choice in what you do, or what you want to do.

lol sure I planned to let everyone know anyways though I may have to wait to see my psyciatrist for that as hes the only one that can change my medication he knows about my problem btw i feel very uncomfortable talking to him about it every session he asks about my sex drive

 

That may be why he's asking, he knew it was a possibility that the medication might affect it.
