Yes, but the only reason there is a differential is that they're having unprotected sex.

 

while that's possible (and i don't believe it is) it's really of minor importance.
having unprotected sex with someone who could have an STD, especially aids, isn't a good idea. however, relying on being circumsized is a far worse idea.
either way, hygene has little to do with STDs anyway....

there was actually research, i cant remember the study, that showed that circumsized penises were less likely to contract AIDs, the reason being that the receptors for AID's on the penis were located under the foreskin, and circumsized gentlemen had these receptors exposed more, and the receptors were tougher.

And thank you Marco Ten for finding one of the articles. There was another one where the researchers actually looked at the characteristics of the unattached foreskins and found this nervous system path.

 

I didn't twist anything. For the record, you began this by questioning my husband's medical knowledge without any basis whatsoever. And I merely observed that if two African villages have different incidences of STD transmission, it's because they practice unprotected sex, because if they DID practice safe sex, they wouldn't have ANY STD transmission! Perhaps you mean transfer from female to male... which I had not thought of before.. I think ... that its like... putting on more layers to keep the cold away... in the winter... you have a bit more protection... but a few more sqaure centimeters of skins.. which does not even cover the area of importance..

aids needs to get into your body somehow.. like threw the piss hole.. or threw a tiny micro cut in the skin... from blood on blood contact...or sex juice on blood) I think scientist.. latly have been surpised with aids as other body fluids such as sweat or saliva.. arn't as effected by it.. *scratches head* surpised at how aids is tranfered mainly threw sexual interaction..

I read somewhere that.. there were a group of whores in south asian.. who were resistant or immune to aids.. as they were exposed many times.. but never contracted it.. perhaps I'll look for the artical..

exactly, it has to come thru cuts/abrasions. of course if the penis is less sensitive (due to circumsizion (or the constant chafing thereafter) there'll be less cuts/abrasions and thus less risk of aids. of course anal sex is rougher which is why gay males are more at risk than straight males.

and i have read something about people immune to aids a couple of years back, but it was just recently brought up again. very interesting ....
