My whole purpose in this this XnXX forum is to learn about other beliefs (moral codes)
When I was a child the bible was not questioned, much less rejected.I was lead to believe that it was the moral code of the world. after the popularity of radio and TV It become the platform for the religious to keep the not so religious in line. Now religion especially Christianity has "evolved" to the point of fighting for control of the world on a biblical morality platform. My error is that I assume that someone other than myself in here would see the bible/god as at least a moral platform worthy of our forefathers aspiring to.
Obviously I was wrong.
With no standard ,focal point, line drawn in the sand(so to speak) the subject of morality is totally subjective.
So all we accomplish here is comparing moral codes. With the presumption of my moral codes being from the religious fruitcakes of the world it hardly seems worth putting up with all the accusations and insults to ask anything

What he said is gold. The whole idea that people were more moral 50 years ago is disingenuous. There was a whole lot of hypocrisy back then. Men cheated on their wives a lot more (Kinsey Reports), women were disdained in the workplace, blacks were...well, if I have to tell you, you're an idiot...

 

The easiest way to meet a standard is to lower it ,or better. do away with it all together so you don't have to rise to anything.

Your right , My mistake I thought that the bible/God was at one time a moral standard for this country. The ten comandments on the steps to the courthouse ,in god we trust on the money, under god in the Declaration of Independence, people, presidents governments swearing on a bible. "under god" every morning in school, prayers before football games, Blue laws, Business being closed on Sunday ,everybody off for Christmas, easter egg hunts on the white house lawn, Clinton carrying a bible when going before congress to face impeachment.

Why, then, did you first try to deny that you had invoked religion in your original post?

My position, as I stated very clearly, is that the morality of this country is NOT in decline, and that as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't have to be based on religion.

 

Fortunately for him, there isn't a Commandment that reads:

"Thou shalt not stroke thy cock while gazing upon pictures of people fucking until it erupts in voluminous spurts of thy seed."

How can you compare 50 years ago to today? 20% of couples today cohabit ate with out marriage and some households are polygamous.

Before World War II there weren't that many women in the work place.
