How about alot of men are stupid, brainwashed with Call of duty vidoe games, world of warcraft, drugs, alchohal, as well as manly stuff like hunting, fighting, competing and such and such.

Besides women don't need to cook. Men can cook too. Men are not the leader or master of a relationship, men are just 50% of the puzzle peice.

 

Call me femi-nazi Orion I'm absolutely okay with that. I read posts on rape, spousal abuse and lord knows what other intriguing questions some people come up with, as well as the answers they get from other members. I've never said that women were superior to men. We are not.
I agree there should be recognition of equality.

What I am however noticing, is that one member posted, ( and got a lot of responses) about women wanting to be equal and yet they won't ask a man out. Another asks where all the strong women are, yet it seems if they are approached by a "strong" or independent woman, men of that mindset are taken aback and turned off or try to swing the pendulum the other way as fast as they can, seemingly wounded in pride and ego.
As for my feminist/equality stand point
Women have, and continue to do things that are not always recognized and show strength in situations, that we are presumed to be overwhelmed by.

We are still a long way from equality on many levels and being human and individual there are too many variables to make true equality a reality.
Take my sister and I for instance:
I worked in the logging industry, she worked in a bridal shop.
While I was up at 2:30, 3:00 a.m., heading to work my 12, sometimes up to 16 hour day, she was sleeping still, being exhausted from carrying all the heavy dresses, veils, shoes and accessories for 6 to 8 hours.
We are almost the same size and physical build.
She's 5'5'', I'm 5'6''. She's 108 lbs, I weigh in at 117 to 120.
We are not equal. She does not have my stamina, I do not have her patience or gentility.
My ex was a 6', 240 lbs. He could ( and did) toss me around like a rag doll but would get teary eyed over a love story on T.V. or damn near faint at the sight of blood.
Physical and emotional differences will always keep us individual.
Recognizing, accepting and learning another's differences from our own is the closest I can see us coming to equality's platform.

At the same time, women shouldn't see men as worthless.

One thing that always sucks is that men and women have trouble agreeing about they feel LOL we have a penis, or a vagina.

What I said was women these days dont make their own decisions, they follow what they are told by mainstream media. That is not a strong willed woman. Now on the topic of cooking, a good woman should cook, obviously you cant and what I said offended you. Also, none of the things you listed, video games, UFC fights, hunting are all bad ass. Watching reality tv that isn't real with a bunch of drama is a giant waste of time, especially when women think they can act that way in the real world. Those women end up being single until 35, then roam bars hoping some drunk guy will fuck them.

I already know both sides, your not strong willed and your offended, you fit right into the category of stupid.

I think that women have their like's and men have their likes.

Women who like mainstream media are ok. They are just women. Men that like UFC fights and hunting and video games are ok. They are just men. Each is to their own.

A good women doesn't have to know how to cook. That's very harsh judging and shouldn't be a deciding factor in a women's worth. Even if a women can't cook, there is so much a women IS

As for me, i do meditation. I realize that thoughts and emotions are both helpful for me. Some men might love thoughts, but are totally afraid of feelings.

I don't know any women that would be dependant on any man but maybe that's because I have no need or desire to be dominated or to dominate anyone else.
Most women that I know have well paid jobs and are more than capable of looking after themselves mentally, physically and financially.
By the same token, I don't need anyone to look after me either, I can cook, clean, wash and iron my clothes and tidy up after myself.

So in short I would suggest to the OP that he stops watching so much porn and has some interaction with real women.

The ones that are there for their children, to help educate and protect them. The ones that hold down full time jobs, maintain a home and give back to their communities. Think about those good women.
