I would like to expand my knowledge of good beer. I actually would rather drink liquor any day of the week if I am going out b/c the results are faster :excited: How does everyone feel about liquor vs beer?

Right now I am drinking Shock Top and I have to say it is one of my favorite type of beer.

So what is your favorite type of beer?

I'll drink almost any kind of beer, so long as it's real ale and not lager.

 

I do like Bishops Finger but don't tend to drink beer all that often. I prefer to stick with spirits.

Well if you're counting ales you can't beat a bit of Newcastle Brown. I also like most German beers specifically ones from Hessen.

I can't remember what it's called but I once had a beer that cost 15 quid a bottle and it was absolutely disgusting.

I think Super Bock and Chimay are the best! but hard to find... so, one more international that i also like is heineken!

 

I like the darker stuff... Porters and more importantly Stouts! YUM!!!!!

 

Anybody ever tried TWO HEARTED ALE it a good seller around LAYFAYETTE IN
it is not pasteurized and has to be kept cold during shipping (my wife loves the stuff)

Type...Porters and Stouts, especially from small breweries who batch brew....everyday whatever beer is bud light...

 

Ah hell..Ok BKG...you want to expand your horizons on beer? You live in the states....I'm gonna give ya one tip...beers have become the new "wine"...so before you go spending a hard earned dollar on something that makes your face pucker....read up on beer. I love hoppy ones...the more bitter the better, but I also love milk stouts, porters and fruit infused beers...depends on the mood and the weather..and what I've been doing that day...if you have a small brew pub in the area or a corner market that sells by the bottle and not the six pack with a good selection, or you find a warehouse style liqour outlet, go pick up a few singles that might pique your interest...in the mean time...I'm cappin a Bud Light and cheers to you!!!
