while i am on the subject, if any bible beaters can explain to me why, if god is so good, do so many small children in this world suffer? He could turn water to wine why the hell cant he make trees put out a hot meal for millions of starving kids? Why are millions of innocent kids eat up with cancer and diseases that make them suffer in agony?

ok im agnostic and christians have pushed me far away from christianity but, i think that you have a problem with christians not necessarily the religion and if not, then the presentation of your argument doesn't support that.
the reason i hate christianity is because i consider myself ok as a person, not the best, but definitely not the worst, but even so just because someone, maybe worse than me, accepts christ as their savior they can go to heaven and i cant

I do it, and honestly, I never have any moral issues or doubt my own faith, and never have issues with law of any kind. And religious nut jobs assume i mean "go jesus crazy" when i say that, and thats pretty sweet too..because they go away.

 

I've lost my faith totally purely because of the shit storm that is my life....I'm a trainee nurse...my life is dedicated to helping those that need me! And yet bad things always I mean ALWAYS happen...Not fair! (yes I'm being selfish...No I don't care)

 

I totally understand not giving a shit anymore, or wanting to do nice things.

All of the negativity and `wrongness' of religion is here, nothing good to say. A Christian (for example)becomes a bully, therefore all Christians are bullies, because we are seen to be represented by our worst, not our best.

A good believer has at least a few counters to every point made by anotheruser.
