My question is THIS. Since this is a GOD DAMNED PORN AND EROTIC LITERATURE SITE, who the hell gave ANY of you the right to exclude ANY form of it??? Who, precisely, are you pretending to protect??

I get the same shit about carrying my pistol, which I've had a permit for since 1964. Some asshole (usually a woman) puts on a big show about seeing the bulge under my shirt or jacket to get attention to herself as a 'victim'. (of not a fucking thing) The bleeding heart assholes (her backup) come at me about it and I have to tell THEM to fuck off because I have a SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, as well as a State issued Concealed Weapon Carry Permit. ... I routinely ask the original nitwit if they get upset when they see a police officer with an exposed sidearm in its holster. They ALWAYS say ''No''. I tell them, ''Well the City Police, County Sheriff, State Police and the FBI investigated me before I was licensed to carry my firearm in 1964. Thats over 45 yrs and I'm not letting the unreasonable reaction of some nitwit... or group of nitwits... dictate whether I can exercise my right to carry it.'' ... And I DO NOT remove myself from the premises. This is AMERICA.

So... Drop the pretentious politically correct BULLSHIT and let the writers write what writers write. ... After which, the readers can read the listed contents BEFORE reading the stories... instead of whining to bleeding heart appeasers about it afterward and then being REWARDED at the EXPENSE of EVERYONE ELSE. This isn't America. This is an internet website. The site owner decides what you can and can't do and your opinion on it doesn't matter a fart in a thunderstorm. You have no rights WHATSOEVER on this site, except the right to leave if you don't like the rules.


As far as I can make out, they've banned openly paedophile stories because of legal pressure rather than any preference on their part. After all, they still allow stories that cover all sorts of other illegal stuff.

You're technically right, as pertains to the website, but I made my AMERICA remark in reference to carrying my firearm. Nevertheless, my logic applies. Who the hell are they protecting and from whom?? They should grow some balls and tell the Lawyers to go fuck themselves. This site STILL has PLENTY of openly pedophile stories on it. One of MY 95% approval rated stories, after over 36,000 reads, was arbitrarily taken down and it was NOT pedophile. That's when I had ALL of my stories taken down. This site has been taken over by power hungry cowards who are being defended by boot licking cowards.

 

I'm thinking the dozens of deletions were a show of faith. Now they leave their censorship up to the readers, who won't report their favorites because that would be the end of their happiness.

It helps the owners avoid legal ramifications (to an extent) and allows them to continue hosting the "offensive" stories until there is in fact an official issue with them. They can comply and be resistant at the same time. What fun.

 

I post exclusively here in the Story Forum, but this was not always the case.

I have never had trouble with trolls, until recently. I am actively engaging in political discussions on the General Forum. My views are not popular. The people over there cannot debate me effectively. So, they are coming here, to the Story Forum, and "de-rating" the thread that I am using to post my novels.

Sooner or later, the people who are knocking my "star rating" down (as though it matters to me) will smarten up and figure out that they can request that I be banned. Despite that my books do not contain pedophilia. (In fact, they are literary erotica and really cannot even be classed as "pornography.")

At that point, XNXX will "play it safe" by removing my books from this board, at which point my books will be off the Internet. So be it. It is only a matter of time. I could "give in," and kiss the butts of all the people who disagree with me. But I say, "Screw it. Bring it on. Ban me."

 

You're going to have to work a whole lot harder than that to get banned, my dear.

If the members here can get away with what they say (sometimes inappropriately) then I really don't think there's anything you could write that would be cause for banning.

 

It certainly does, since you were wrong about the firearm as well. The Constitution may grant you the right, and the authorities may grant you the licence, to carry the thing - but nobody and nothing gives you the right to go into other people's property and other company's businesses. If they choose to boot you out because you're carrying a weapon there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

In my opinion,we are witnessing the "Decline of the American Empire". Have been for awhile. It's social structure is failing miserably. The federal government is technically bankrupt. The poor and the sick are not being taken care of properly. Private prisons and greedy lawyers have turned crime into a 'for-profit' business. And men and women walk around the streets in fear, clutching their pistols to their chests.

Well I'm not sure the gun thing is a really great parallel to this situation, but as for your initial question, they have the right to police the site's content because they are the site's owners. That power is pretty much inherent. They can slap contributing artists with virtually any rule they want, because it's their site and they decide what the content is going to be.

Now, I really don't like the change, I'm a Marketplace of Ideas kind of guy and I'm puzzled by why fictional depictions of one illegal act are being excised while depictions of any number of other illegal acts, some of them quite heinous, are apparently still "okay" and by what consistent standard, if any, the rules are being made. But the folks behind the scenes don't have to answer to me, and at the end of the day, it's their unequivocal right to make the rules, just as it's our right to opt out if we don't like them.

Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one, some just stink worse than others.

I'm not gonna' rail on your country. Instead, I'll simply state that America has made many places in the world better off. If you look at all of the terrible people of the 20th century, you'll find that many of them had to be handled by America. You'll find when other countries suffer, we're typically right there to help. Not always, I'm sure, and we're far from perfect, but one of the things that makes our country great is our resolve to rid the world of fuckers who bring great harm to others.

It's easy to poke fun at our leaders because they are so visible. It's because so many other countries in the world depend upon us, for their freedom, for our dollars, etc. Ask 100 Canadians who the President of the United States is, and I'm pretty sure most will know. Ask 100 Americans who is the Prime Minister of Canada, and hardly any will know. It isn't a question of being educated, it's a question of the role our country has had to take in world affairs. It has cost us quite a bit, too, over the years, not just in money, but in lives.

I wonder what would happen if we pulled all our troops back into our country, ceased all foreign aide, closed up all of our embassies, closed the borders, refused to export anything, refused to import anything, and basically turned off our phone service outside of our country (not practical, but in other words, limited ourselves to affairs within our borders) for a period of 12 months.

I suspect our biggest problem would be oil, but I wonder what the world would look like in 12 months.

We're not the only ones who guard Freedom's Door, but we sure as hell make up the majority of the forces.
