  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Here's is what everyone is missing. Yomama could get re-elected as the Republicans have yet to offer up anyone worthy of actually being President. Romney - no, the Yomama healthplan is almost identical to the one Romney hoisted on the citizens of Massachussetts. Palin - yeah, and pigs fly. If she were to garner the nomination, do you really and truly believe she could win? Gingrich has his memories of when he went after Clinton (oh - and lost) and that's all he has. Sure, his sister is/was a lesbian, but if history serves me, he pretty much stepped all over himself his last term. And the people don't forget. Pawlenti? Oh please, you're talking about someone who was elected by the same people who elected Jesse "The Body" Venturi. Huckaby the preacher, we all know how that will turn out. The rest are just interested in getting their names out in public for the future - and it doesn't matter if it gets them anywhere. It just becomes their 15 seconds of fame.

Let's look at the Democrats. Yomama, if he actually runs again, and I'm not saying he won't, will face some stiff competition. I do believe you will see the scorned bitch resign and run against him. I predict she could upset him, too. Not really any other real contenders, but there are always some dark horses that could kick open the door to the barn and give it a go. Kerry? No - he's burnt toast.

So - let's see where that leaves the good old US of A for leadership. Right where we started back about 20 years ago, or further. No one worth a dog's steaming hot pile. We are fucked - plain and simple. You know, there are a lot of other countries out there that are beginning to look pretty good. Might have to see if I can get while the getting is good.

I think it's strange that you would propose a rule of thumb that says anytime unemployment is over 7% a President won't be relected. Do you believe a crazy rule like this is always going to be true? Sure, you may be able to show the past statistic is true, but, human behaviour is too variable to reliably predict. I know that my voting preferences are never based on a single number.

I'm sure Obama will find lucrative employment after his presidency, regardless of whether he is reelected or not.

Obama's number one ace in the hole is the Republican Party. He can pretty much count on them to nominate an unqualified, right-wing nincompoop for president, and then force that person so far to the right that he or she will never be taken seriously by sane voters. By comparison, Obama will always look like the only grown-up running. Voila!

You're probably right. None of the front runners so far seem electable. If Mitt Romney is the choice, Republicans are dead for sure.

Obama has disappointed many people though and they will vote third party in protest.

I don't trust any of them.

People always talk about voting for third-party candidates, right up until the point they realize their candidate will get 1% of the vote.

The most likely scenario is that the Tea Partiers will field their own candidate (perhaps a Libertarian), and will thus further guarantee a Republican loss.

If the unemployment rate remains as high as it is, or gets higher, the Republicans will be able to win with the guy who impregnated Sarah Palin's daughter, did not marry her, and posed nude for Playgirl.

Right now Republicans in Congress are intent on reducing the deficit without raising taxes on the well to do. That will do nothing to reduce unemployment, and is likely to cause it to rise.

According to a Gallup survey released May 16, 2011 unemployment beats the deficit as a national concern by 22 to 12 percent. Even among Republicans unemployment trumps the deficit 24 to 17 percent.

Unfortunately, President Obama lacks the will to confront the Republicans on this issue, and the skill to take his case to the American people in order to explain what the situation is, and what the options are. We need a president who can out think and out maneuver the Republicans. We do not have one.

Countries with stronger labor unions have been less effected by the Great Recession, and they are recovering faster.

Why would Obama need a job after he's out of office? A former president gets to keep the salary, the insurance, the transportation, the bodyguards. The only thing he doesn't get to keep is the power to do anything as president.

Thats because the newly elected conservative/Republican/Tea Baggers are job killers not job creators. The unemployment rate was headed down and job creation headed up until they started threatening to shut down the government and not increase the debt ceiling. Now its headed back up again because businesses are not sure what's going to happen next with those crazy conservative/Republican/Tea Baggers in congress.

Really?? Numbers don't lie? Then good because a majority of the people in the US approve of the job president Obama is doing.

Ace I ought to kick your ass for acting this dumb. I meant the conservative/Republican/Tea Baggers in congress who ran on creating jobs and have not done a single thing but kill jobs since they got into office.

At least President Obama and the Democrats can point to the number of jobs the stimulus package saved or created, they can point to an unemployment rate that was at least headed down not back up and they can point to more than 2 Million new private sector jobs created.

Now unemployment is headed back up, the recovery is stalled, house prices have fallen again, and it looks like the conservative/Republican/Tea Baggers are intent on causing a second recession.

Yeah, yeah sure Ace the world the federal government and the deficit never existed before Barack Obama got elected president.

And the responsibility is that those who believe that the United States and its people are really the best in the world also believe that with the right government incentives and assistance we can produce our own energy and produce the brightest future our nation has ever seen.

Instead of believing we are in the end days, our country is nothing but a depleted waste land, and the only thing that matters is get all you can before its gone for the top 5% of the nation. That's the vision you and the conservative/Republican/Tea Baggers have of this nation Ace.

Yeah, yeah, once again Ace I'm forced to admit that during the 2010 Census the government put on thousands and thousands of temporary government employees just like they do every fucking ten years you fucking brainwashed fool.

Can't you see a fucking thing beyond the brainwashed bullshit they feed you and you WANT to believe for reasons I will never understand.

hell, even there not-declared-candidates aren't very promising. Christie? he did a crash-and-burn when he had the bright idea "Oh, I've got a state-supplied limo, but I want to make a big entrance for my son's ball game, so let's use that new Blackhawk!". Perry? Texas isn't in all that much better shape than California is, budget-wise, so what major accomplishment does he have to point to if he runs? Paul? that guy could win.....if America was attacked with nuclear weapons, and the only survivors were all Libbies. beyond that, you can address the rest of the potential candidates pretty much with the term "Who?". I think Obama's going to win a second term, and with the heat they've already generated with their talk on Medicare and Social Security, it isn't inconceivable that the Republicans might not lose control of the House (doubt it, read the polls, most folks hate Congress more then they hate Obama).
going to be an interesting election season, that's the one sure thing.
