As far as if he was rasied like that, I get that some people DO have things drilled into their head, but when you grow up you have a responsibility to look at the world and make your own decisions. I'm in the military and preparing for a deployment. I obviously in no way support or condone the sentiment that dipshit up there is expressing in his sig. I am inclined to think that he probably has some sort of philosophy behind this and that its just immature and not very clearly thought out. I'm sure that if he took the time to reason and consider his position logically, he'd realise that blanket statements like that are always untennable. I bet if he thought about it, he'd realize that sometimes (e.g. self defense) taking a life is not only unnavoidable but sometimes the lesser of 2 evils. Its really just immaturity whenevr someone takes any knid of absolutist position like this. He'll outgrow it, assuming his mental faculties are such that he's still capable of growth.

The bigger issue is the forum wherein he's expressing this nonsense. If he wanted to start a thread with that under "general discussion" thats fine. If he went to a different site that was dedicated to fringe politics, fine. But a political (and inflamitory) signature amounts to constant trolling. I think of it this way: If he put that sig on a t-shirt and wore it at a rally or a punk show or whatever, I would still disagree with the sentiment, but have considerably less of a problem with it.
