Jesus h christ,,,,the entire global warming theory is just speculation and computer projections,, that didn't stop the left from jumping on their bandwagon. There are no truthful answers to why the climate changes, because it is not understood, only mother nature has the answer. I know that the liberal leftist think they are a god like existence, but not on this issue.

If some "great" scientists needs to work, than he/she needs money (he/she might have a family to support :excited.

So, if they need a "project", they also need money for that project...

And, closer to the present times - look at Japan.
With all their technology, when "Mother Earth" considered, gave them some quakes and a tsunami that just "smiled" at them.
God forbid Earth would have wanted to laugh a little!...

We are too little and the universe is just too great - what will be, will be and the natural balance is much wiser than all of us.

Global cooling is so 1980's. It called climate change now.

 

The UN IPCC has been proven to be an echo chamber, one that specifically excluded scientific study that disagreed with their foregone conclsuion. Among their reported "facts" was a statement that glaciers would disappear, which was later shown to be an off-the-cuff and vast exageration, repudiated by its own author. Quoting them as an authority proves that you have given up on true sciencific investigation, drunk the kool-aid, and are no longer an impartial judge of facts. This does not surprise me.

 

What kind of crack pot thinks he can tax the world which will have the effect of planning its weather down to precise temperatures half a century from now?

Now, regarding the subject (and not only...).

I have lived enough to see how things are developing...

For example, IT.

When I was in my first years of school, it was something "fantastic" to have a calculator, doing +, -, X, & /...

Anyway, if you've had the great chance to have such a "precious" thing, the teachers were COMPLETELY against letting you use it while you were in class...

Very much later, we have been "invaded" by computers, supposed to give a clear estimation of the weather - it's just an example.

There are already 3 (three) days since the weather reports tell us to expect rains daily...

Until now, nothing like that happened - just a few clouds...

Starting with today, we are supposed to have a warm period, until, at least, the end of the week...

So, these scientists (as, meteorology is considered a science...), paid, in my country, by the government (I'm talking about the prognosis issued by the National Institute of Meteorology!!!), which means, inclusively, my money (from the taxes I have to pay every year!), AREN'T able to foresee the weather for a week!!!

AND, there are some people who believe that the scientists will be able to tell us what is going to happen with the weather in 10 or 50 years!?!

But, I say it again - these people (the scientists) may have families to support - what shall they do? Change the line of work?!?

I've just learned to stay alert and see what the weather is really like...

That was just about the time that science had worked out how the Earth's orbital irregularities cause ice ages to come and go. And, yes - we're due another one. That, in turn, is why it's so disturbing that global average temperature has been going up instead of down.

 

I have the solution to the warming cooling C02 problems.

At this time ALL progressives should STOP inhaling oxygen fro 1-2 hours at a consecutive time. This way if all the progressives do not exhale there will be lower C02. See how easy it will be to solve this problem. Then if (and when) you die we will feed you to pigs so we do not pollute the ground by putting you in it.

And a question for all you progressives, when a volcano erupts and spews tons upon tons of C02 how do you intend on stopping that from happening???? I know they (so they say) do not emit as much as humans but why should humans pay for the volcano??? Do you think you could get them to share the wealth?????? :rose:

Hey prtndr where do the dead zones fit into all this? And once again what is your position? Your position was that the scientists claiming human caused global warming/climate change were all liars.

But now that some scientists are predicting a solar low point they are automatically right and its going to happen. Even though if you read their predictions closely the only they can become true is if they are right about climate, human caused CO2 contributions, global warming, and the climate changes we are witnessing now.

Its all based on the same research and the same conclusions.

So you were either a fool before or you're a fool now. But you can't have it both ways; fool.

You could say that....but you would be wrong. The global warming denial crowd is almost 100% paid for by the fossil fuel industry, which stands to make bazillions by continuing to do what they're doing for as long as possible. As much as the right wing seeks to compare that to a lot of legitimate scientists competing for paltry grant funding, the profit motive comparison just doesn't add up.

 

I am all for nuclear power. However a lot of people are opposed to that as well.

This country still has no clear energy plan/policy for the future.
