  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

    I didn't read the article.

Well, throwing rocks at someone isn't going to solve that situation.

If someone is trying to do bodily harm to me, I have the right to defend myself. If they did not bring a gun that's their fault.

Don't bring a knife or in this case a rock to a gun fight. :excited:

That conflict's been going on ever since Ishmael and Isaac so each side shouldn't be surprised when the other aggravates each other...

Texas state law basically gives the right to defend body and property with deadly force. So, it depends on where you are.

Still, isn't it a bit safer to call the police? I mean, those guys are trained to defend you. You aren't most times.

If someone attacks me, ie. they started it and there are more than one as was stated by the OP, I will do what I need to to protect myself and anyone I'm with. I do not play the what if game. If you attack me, reguardless of the weapon, I will bury the attacker if I'm able.

The police in most cases won't show up in time to stop the thieve, but to only take a report and hope to catch the guy the next he steals something. There is only 1 officer for like 2,000 people the odds of showing up in time are NOT in your favor.

The argument that police are better trained than most 'civilian' shooters is...not that accurate. In some cases where a concealed weapon was used the defend the life of a 'civilian' an accident involving the loss of life in an innocent bystander was 2 deaths compare to police involved shootings taking the life of 11 innocent bystanders.

Not to mention the fact that a Supreme Court case ruled that an officer doesn't have to put him self in harm like that to defend ONE person or his/her property.

Now, am I saying to go out and shoot the guy stealing your car stereo? Not in the least. Just walk out, show him your gun and 9 times out of 10 they will run. Criminals choose targets that won't fight back, resisting with a gun will more times than not stop the criminal from attacking.

I would go ahead and say, one of you, against more than one of them, equals a physically threatening situation.
This by almost every state in the union, is viewed as assault and battery, and if they have boards with nails, that's intent to commit murder, depending on how good of a lawyer there is.

    Now, you need witnesses.

But, as for shooting them, yes, just don't kill them, or that's manslaughter.

But self-defense is a universally accepted theory.
So shoot away, go for the knees.
