He then says no, he meant the area, and correctly points out that the population of the US is greater than that of the UK. The are question is also proved to be false...

NJ and PA combined is bigger than England in area. The Mid-Atlantic States combined dwarf the UK. Three of our biggest states population-wise is more population than your entire UK.

 

Your original Statement was the UK had a smaller pop than Pa/NJ combined, that was disproven so you move area, I just equated that we had more pop in a smaller area, I was wrong the UK is greater in England so it was only fair to continue that way.
