    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    How is everyone doing with reading all the stories? I started when I saw the poll was posted and I've only got a couple more to read. They ARE short stories. Short but very good.

    I'm not sure how you figure 12 people voted - after all, the voting is anonymous and you gave unlimited votes. Could be 12 or could be 6 - you have no way of knowing ELP. Could be legitimate - could be one of the socks that have registered to vote.

    A vote is a vote. A person can only give a single story a single vote. CJ's two stories have six votes each and that makes a total of twelve votes. Of course socks can vote but they can't vote negative so all the stories benefit from more votes. The only down part is when you run out of socks.

    Analyzing this is weird and probably fruitless because there's no way of knowing what standard people are using to vote. Do they consider each story they vote for to be on equal footing? Are they voting simply for what stories they think are good, rather than which ones they think are the best? Everyone may be approaching this a different way. If one story has X votes and another has Y, that could mean virtually anything because all of the people who voted for either may have done so for completely different reasons.

    I think the people here want to do the right thing and (by and large) are doing the right thing. Have some faith in our forum members. I am sure that they are reading the stories and voting their conscience.

    I am impressed by the number of voters in this challenge. I think that, as it gets close to the close of the poll and all the members have had a chance to read all the stories, the vote totals will go up and the story order may shift.
