Maybe i don't know all the facts, as i think this goes back to a time i wasn't even on here? However I know what i see. Sorry grumps we shall have to agree to disagree on this.

 

Has anyone read the information contained in the link that myself (post number 40 on this thread) and Baller posted.....

It makes some interesting reading and shows just how delusional Baller must be...

I have high-lighted a couple of very interesting sentences..

The first deals with the meaning of the topic which shows that, if you are PROJECTING yourself onto some-one, then you are subconciously DENYING your emotions, attributes and thoughts.

I just wonder HOW many members of the forum would DENY their own emotions and attributes. I openly admit that I am arrogant and egotistical, CAN some-one please explain then HOW could I be projecting myself onto Baller...

Next high-lighted sentence deals with the idea that, if you are PROJECTING yourself onto some-one, then YOU are BLAMING them for your own failures...
Now who the world would BLAME Baller if they failed a driving test, or failed a breath test, or failed in their relationship, or failed to secure that good job..We, as individuals, are reponsible for OUR own failings. So please explain HOW anyone else apart from BALLER can be PROJECTING themselves onto him...

By reading and understanding simple english, it can be seen that the ONLY person who is PROJECTING, is BALLER himself...

 

I've never had a cross word with him. No tell a lie we did disagree on something but we both did it like adults and there was no name calling ect.

Exactly grumps it's in the past. And i'm of the belief that unless you do something truly terrible then everyone deserves a second chance.

From what I have seen baller gives far more than he gets. Should someone he has a disliking for be posting, he will go out of his way to be insulting, derogatory, and belittling in some Don Quixote notion of "exposing a fraud" even if his name wasn't mentioned.
Oh sure, I could put him on ignore, but then again that creates odd blips in the conversation, and having to put someone on ignore simply tells them that they have gotten under your skin.

 

I can't see how he possibly gives more than he gets, considering he's fired on from all angles.

Also i've seen him just having a laugh on here and someone has tried to provoke him into an argument. I'm not saying he's innocent in arguing with people, he clearly is not and yes he has started some very unnecessary arguments. Still the amount of threads that have been created just to ridicule him, makes it very evident that he gets more than he gives.

I will remind you, however, he has started his own threads to mock others, myself included.

I suppose what we should be doing is simply sit in silence as he spouts his rant of how we are all frauds, "projecting" our false images and somehow subverting his assertions that he is an expert in all things.. from History to graffitti, and that if we disagree with him we are somehow less than. That he is the final authority on all discussions.

Your sarcasm here is unnecessary. I have already said I am not blind to his part in arguments.

Like i said previously I have disagreed with him and I have not been called false or anything else. Maybe its just how others approach him and vice versa. Not everyone can like everyone.

Maybe the problem is the way that Baller deals with being wrong..

Now I know that Baller has posted inaccurate information, and tried hard to convince people that the information is accurate. But when his mistake is pointed out, in a polite way, all anyone is subjected to is a tirade of verbal abuse and stupid insults from him..

All that is needed is for Baller to accept it when his information is proven wrong, and not to start becoming abusive because that is when people start becoming abusive back...

Now I have deliberately made sure that any of my posts, in direct response to Baller, DO NOT contain the abusive language or stupid insults that he uses. Yet he will post verbal abuse towards me, and any post I make that directly disagrees with his information..

Now if you have read all the posts in this thread, you will see that the buzz-word at the minute is "projecting." You can read up on what this means by the link posted by myself and Baller, but if you do read the information supplied in the link, you should then ask yourself this 1 simple question..
Just who is the person doing all of the projecting, considering his thread admitting to everyone that he has been living a lie on here, and that he has NOT succeeded in becoming what he wanted to be...

 

Well, just got back from an evening out and opened a thread of interest and CS natureboy suggested I should read the rules, so I started too until I found this and almost pissed myself laughing and choking on my coffee when I read the following post from Baller.

make stupid posts deliberately picking on other members when not provoked grounds for getting kicked out or atleast delete them or warn the people who send them because its ridiculous that people have to hear stuff like that

Oh I see. A large number of people take shots at Baller for certain antics and all is well but if a newer member decides to play, that becomes an issue. There have been a multitude of posts by others and a number of threads. Well as others have said, this is a porn site so develop a thicker skin. If you don't want to see it, don't open the thread.

 

And by the way, in case you missed it. The thread is called Quotable quotes from Baller16. Oh, how about that, that's just what I posted, a Baller16 quote! Get with the program.

 

It's not about newcomers or quantity of threads but quality, and when you post the same info in two pre-existing threads then use same info to start a completely new one it loses its impact.

 

Fair enough. Different people read different threads and was posted for those different viewers. If that's an issue then dually noted. Growing pains of a newbie.

 

I, being one of those people "taking shots", ask you freespirit to consider the term "over kill".
To retaliate when baller gets it into his head to come out swinging with insults and derogatory statements, especially when he wasn't even mentioned, is one thing. It amuses some, disgusts others, etc etc etc..

To continue after baller has retreated back to his cage, in fact goading him to come out and play again, is unwarranted. Over Kill.
Has NOTHING to do with your tenure.
If over kill is not appropriate, consider the term "flogging a dead horse".
Baller has not been seen this past day.. and it goes in cycles.
He pops in with his amount of "unrefutable wisdom", people essentially tell him to go away or at least be constructive, he disappears until some other thought pops into his head. And then it starts over again. Same cycle, same insults, same baller.

Goading baller is not the "in" thing to do around here from what I have seen.
Once he disappears, best to simply let the matter drop.

 

Well see now, your stuck with some character self defamation. So it will be a lengthy amount of time before people are going to relate any credibility to your online persona.
Indeed the growing pains, and some of those leave scars. Especially on the internet.
