Actually its the opposite that exists. Most the mainstream news media is ethically charged with presenting non-partisan fair and objective news. The problem is as I've said they've gone so far that way as to pretend that all opinions are equally valid when that is simply not true and the mainstream media have abandoned their responsibility to find out who's right and wrong.

Its much easier not to take a side on any given issue, not go after the facts and do the research to see who's telling the truth, and far more profitable to present sensationalism instead of anything resembling actual news.

That leaves the way wide open for the right wing noise machine to push false propaganda, fear and hate when before they would have been fact checked and exposed. But there are so many different avenues and forms of media now that's a very challenging task and the profits are with just pushing people's buttons but never really resolving anything.

We have many outlets but our media is so commercialized and the American people so apathetic about politics and current issues they are easily fed by sensationalism and propaganda and that's simply what our mainstream media has sunken to.

However, while that is the case and it does present some advantages to the right wing noise machine it is not a total loss because there are also those many avenues and different forms of media I've mentioned that those who are really interested can find out for themselves when before they did not have that kind of access.

And the remedy is fairly simple anyway. The solution is to not just watch, listen to, read, or most importantly believe anyone media source and take a broad view of all of them because the truth has to be in there somewhere.

While amusing I have to wonder what side of your political spectrum John Stewart is on and how that may influence the topics of his discussion.

Was his report unbiased or simply a snub at his opponents? I don't know, please elaborate.

 

There should be no doubt what so ever that Jon Stewart is a progressive/liberal who makes his living off primarily attacking the right for their lies and hypocrisy. Stewart has never made a secret of that and in fact publicly said so many times.

Here's another example of not only just how hateful and prejudiced Glenn Beck is but more to the point just how phony and stupid he is.

And like I said the proof of that isn't Beck being dumb enough to compare the victims of a terrorist attack to Hitler Youth. That was obviously dispicable enough but he had to follow that with what I'm sure he thought was a rhetorical question; "What kind of people would have a political summer camp kids"? And he added that was disturbing.

OK so I've pointed out the American Legion political camps for youths; Girls and Boys State. I've also posted a summer camp sponsored by the Tea Party.

But now today we are learning that if Beck had problems with people putting on political camps for youths he could have objected to them when he had just such a camp organizer on his show. But instead since Beck helped invent the Tea Party he just promoted these kinds of camps instead.
