The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I have to disagree with you. Keynes was really a reactionary to the Austrian School and his efforts were focused on economic modeling regarding the problem of unemployment.

However, a mixed approach to capitalism far outdated Keynes and even Marx himself. Alexander Hamiliton was the first major advocate of state corporatism alongside free enterprise.

Job growth since the Carter years

Not only is there usually more job creation under Democratic presidents, but there is more over all economic growth. During Franklin Roosevelt's first term there was nearly as much growth as during the terms of Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge. From 1921 to 2001 Democrats were presidents for forty years; Republican were presidents for the other forty. During this time there was more than twice as much economic growth under Democratic presidents.
    http://www.singularity.com/charts/page99.html

The Washington Times is a Republican newspaper that is sold nationally. This is what The Washington Times printed in February 8, 2008:

"Compared with the average net increase of 67,000 jobs per month during the first seven years of the Bush presidency, monthly employment grew by an average of 240,000 jobs throughout the eight years of the Clinton presidency, during which more than 23 million nonfarm jobs were created.

"While the Carter administration encountered (caused?) many economic problems, employment growth was not one of them. Nonfarm payrolls grew by nearly 10.5 million jobs during his four-year term; that is nearly 90 percent greater than the 5.6 million jobs created during the first seven years of the Bush-Cheney era...

"26.7 percent (nearly 18,000 jobs per month) of Mr. Bush’s relatively minuscule monthly average of 67,000 jobs (2001-2007) were created in the government sector. By contrast, only 8.3 percent of the job growth during the Clinton years occurred in government."

DL my dear friend.... I hate to Rain on your parade... The two presidents that you are referring to Coolidge, and Harding both being democrats... Were in the ideals essentially what we would call Conservative Republicans or we could call the Jeffersonian Democrats. They are totally the opposite end of the spectrum from the modern democrats we know today... Pre FDR.... (the Progressive Era), when progressive politics started and imbued their virtues and issues with the democratic party.

I am pretty sure he's just stating the facts...

I wouldn't use those exact terms, I think that Osama is a Tyrant who for a while got what he wanted and now is crying because things are working more closely to the way they are supposed to.

Just curious how is that bigoted?

Let me ask one very simple rhetorical question to demonstrate that everything you wrote after "government interference" is fantasy bullshit of your own making.

    Ready?

Name a time in the history of the United States of America, when the government has not "interfered" with business?

You can't can you babbling fool because the Constitution of the US was written to facilitate commerce. You know; i.e. business.

Really? Because it seemed like he was pulling opinions together that have no part in reality, even if Obama does everything he says he does.

A Marxist is not a communist - Just like a protestant christian and a evangelical christian or jehovah witness isn't the same, they might have the same background/basic opinions but neither would ever accept being put in the same group.

A liberal isn't by default apologetic, I think that have more to do with your upbringing or myths about liberals being soft/weak.

A nazi isn't about "extreme dictatorial policies with no room for compromises". It's basically nationalism, very anti-immigration and believe one "race/people" belong in the country they buildt up. Hitler was the one who started the "extreme dictatorial policies with no room for compromises", not nazism in general. Obama doesn't hold the views of a nazi, so it's dumb to call him one.

And you are a bigot if you think a muslim or even extreme muslim always means "bring down america!". Seems very arrogant from your side to think that is what it's all about. And to my knowledge Obama doesn't have any specificly muslim opinions and so far haven't done anything exept being against your point of view.

There is running interference for business and then there is interference against business. Interstate commerce regulations are not interference, they are there to keep states from interfering in the commerce of other states.

Regulations which cause undo hardship on large and small business in being in compliance, are what is called interference. Since you have never met a regulation that you did not love, I do not expect you to understand.

Today many small business spend as much as 30% o their payroll in meeting such regulatory paperwork demands. In California, a study found that the typical small business spent over $134,000 in 2007 to be in compliance with the paperwork required to conduct their business there.

    http://www.sba.ca.gov/Cost of Regulation Study - Final.pdf

This chart is from a study of US small businesses cost to comply with US income tax reporting requirements

Really stumbler? Name calling? And here I thought you were above that, live and learn I guess.

Thankfully your vaunted "Constitution" doesn't apply to me, nor anyone else living outside your 50 states, unless your another one of those that thinks everything outside your borders is simply not worth consideration.

Really guy, you really felt the need to explain the extremism of my post? You could not just see the context it was written in and just see how far fetched it was. It was a response to an extreme picture with an extreme post to show its stupidity. Obviously Nazism and Marxism and extreme opposites as are fundamental Islam and liberalism. So clearly someone can not be a those in one, everyone right or left knows that. If at some point Obama has been accused of being too liberal, or too socialist in his views, or too extreme, he is not necessarily being seen as a communist or a Nazi. That picture was moronic because it took every accusation against Obama to the extreme. My posts wanted to show you what kind of comments need to be made in order for that picture to be true, and since no one has ever been that extreme that picture is pointless. trying to explain its stupidity might have been a better approach but would have been a defensive method (not exactly my cup of tea). Apparently I might have overestimated the common sense of the board.

we have these things. . . called 'laws'. . . when the political class undermine those with stated policies contrary to the law (Houston, LA, . . . 'sanctuary cities') it is 'We the People who suffer.

I say it is time to throw off our old guards and provide for ourselves new security.

    I don't know Canada:

    I know in the US . . .

+ Wages are taxed DOUBLE what individuals think they pay, because employers are taxed payroll taxes. So take what every people make and double it without Income Tax and Payroll Tax. As an employer in the US it costs me 1.5x what I plan on paying that person just to keep them thanks to taxes and regulations.

+ This is the question of the 56 year old 'cocktail waitresses' in Atlantic City NJ suing because they are LONG past their shelf life as cute little things in miniskirts. Some jobs ARE ENTRY JOBS and they are ONLY entry jobs, filled by kids learning what they want to do with their lives. I KNOW I don't want to work at a movie theater for the rest of my life because i did during school.

+ Where do you think someone like 'Dominic' would 'LEARN' about making pizza? The magic knowledge fairy visits him one night and shakes a magic diploma? No! He had to WORK for that experience.

    - If you think that Canada or the US are 'free markets' you are sadly mistaken. There is an over abundance of Federal, State, Local, County, City and municipality, taxes and regulations that cripple the ability of anyone looking to start a business. Did you know that in the City of New Orleans you could have a home business 'walking dogs' (cut and paste your menial home based business) and make ZERO MONEY (not even profit) and you STILL owe the city a '$50 business permitting fee'? How can you POSSIBLY consider that a free market?

My poster was appropriate because many of President Obama's detractors are so deranged that they really have described him as a Marxist, or a Moslem. I'm not sure if he has been described as as Nazi or Communist, though.

I am reasonably confident that those calling Obama a Marxist or a Moslem have never read any of Marx's writings or the Koran - or much else, for that matter.

The truth is the President Obama is a non fundamentalist Protestant Christian, and a liberal Democrat whose economic policies are inspired by the writings of John Maynard Keynes.

Many of the attacks on Obama are obviously racist. His detractors are deranged.

If you read my first post to it, I did think you were just kidding/overdoing it. It was more of a responce to crackedjaguar@hotmail.com's post about you "just stating the facts". Didn't mean to give you a wrong idea of my common sense but sarcasm, even on this level can sometimes be hard to spot simply from text.
