I dunno, I think those cold feet should count! Except they're not the GF's, they're my husbands.

And I just can't stand getting up into the bed or getting out of it...I'm ok once I'm in it. God help whoever I'm sleeping beside if I'm having a nightmare about one though, I've given black eyes and broken a bone in my hand from punching the wall so hard. I'm just glad I'm not the only one, Lioness!

 

I will admit I looked in my closet a couple of times after watching the movie "When a Stranger Calls" ........... but the original with Carol Kane from way back .

 

lol Lioness. I choked my first husband while we were sleeping thinking about food when I was about 8 months pregnant. I also punched him a few times on other occasions while sleeping during that pregnancy. In hindsight I should have choked him harder...

 

When I turned my bedroom light off, I ran and jumped into bed. Also, I NEVER let my arms or legs stick out lest they be grabbed and the closet door HAD to be closed!

I don't even have any doors on my closet now so nothing can hide in there, but I do close my bedroom door every night.

I've never had a driver's licence and I don't actually know how to drive. (Well I mean in theory I do.)

 

I can't stand to have any of my food touching. When I'm served in restaurants, I always move things on the plate so that they don't touch. I can't stand it when you're served a steak and it's draped across a mound of mashed potatoes.

I'm not sure where it comes from. It could have to do with the fact that I practically lived on TV dinners as kid, so maybe I get some deep-seated comfort from having my food compartmentalized. <shrug>

You know , that's not as strange as it may sound and I know a few people that are the same way . They are seemingly rational people with a preference to have their food separate .

Isn't there actually a clinical term for that ?

 

Picky? I figured it's all going to the same place...but if someone does have that preference, I would not serve their food touching or comment on it.

Ha! I did respite care for a little guy who LOVED peas and I offered to put chocolate syrup on them once just to see how it would taste. He loved it. I wasn't too crazy about the taste, but it was something fun to try!!
