It sounds to me that we're arguing on the same side, but the definition of a "fictionalized likeness of a child" has yet to be determined by some. Any portrayals of children, be it cartoon, computer generated images, hand drawn or otherwise do not belong on an adult porn website.

If the CGI, hand drawn, cartoon (or otherwise) images you are complaining about do not depict humans, or human likenesses, why do you continue trying to argue?

I am not looking to have all "created" images removed, banned or otherwise disallowed, just those depicting human children or their likenesses. We have a posthumous rule of "no under 18 content anywhere" in case you didn't realize it. If these images are violating that rule, they shouldn't be hosted here.

Again, if these images do not depict human children or their likenesses I will drop the issue at hand and stop posting on this thread.

The people who own the site don't owe anyone here any explanation on what is acceptable to them. It's privately owned, and so long as they abide by the rules of the country in which the site is hosted, they call the shots. If someone doesn't like it, they can complain (hence this thread), or, they can look for the door and leave. It is, after all, a mostly free world.

As far as I can tell, there is no auto-censor in place. The only way things get "modified" is if it is reported to a moderator, reported to the site admin, or if one of the aforementioned see it on their own and, doing their jobs, remove it if it violates the rules.

It is, certainly, more difficult to establish an age via a picture or graphic than it is via the written word. Fifteen or 15 is a no-go. Sixteen or 16 is a go. But when you look at a photo, it can be much more difficult. I haven't been to the thread that Eric mentioned, however, if it is as he described, then it seems to me that it indeed violates the "spirit" of the rule if not the rule itself. But, maybe there are special rules for pictures/graphics. I simply don't know.

Perhaps it would be helpful if there was some clarity with regards to images that appear to be underage. I suspect it will be much harder for mods to make that determination than a written word. I don't envy them their task.

Most civilizations that I'm aware of have some type of censorship. A father imposes censorship on his children when he tells them of a curfew, of what tv shows they can watch, of what movies they can go see, of what friends they may or may not have, of what foods they may or may not eat, and so on. A huge amount of censorship takes place in everyday living. The government imposes various forms of censorship on its citizens. You cannot, for example, threaten the life of the President. You cannot carry firearms into federal (and probably state) buildings. You cannot drive above 55/65/70/75 miles per hour on certain highways. These rules, these censorships, are all for a common good, and are generally accepted by those whom they subjugate. If not, they wouldn't be kept in place.

It is not illegal to write a fictional depiction of anything, in the United States at least, and that is not my opinion, that is the opinion of the Supreme Court.
