Anyone else finding their significant other doing nothing but the same thing over and over when having sex. Don't get me wrong, the sex is still great, but getting a little monotonous. same routine every time it gets going.

However if you meant to put monotonous in your title like you did in the post then thats different completely. You should really have used the search bar before posting since there are already many threads about how to "spice up" a boring sex life but I'll give you some tips anyways.

My relationship is polyam so we really dont get bored very often, but during the times that it was just husband and I if things got a little "routine" so to speak we would do all sorts of things to add a little variety.

•Talk about/Act out a fantasy one of you has. Sometimes just talking about a fantasy you want can get the excitement flowing.
•Go buy a new toy together. Either one for her, or you, or one can both enjoy.
•Have your wife/gf masturbate for you. To add even more excitement to it, have her throw on her fav porn and sit close to a window with the blinds open that you can see from the yard and go outside to watch. Adds a voyueristic vibe to it.

Monogamous was used as description of current sex life status. Same place, same foreplay, same two positions. No venturing outside the box. And being with the same person it's like "double monogamy".

Well with a little more information I can give better advice. I have learned never to assume anything, (i mean look at my life style lol) so Im not gonna assume that your married.

How long since you had sex all together, good or bad?
Have you talked to her, does she see an issue, is your sex drive higher then hers or vice versa. All important info to take into account.

Kind of why I started this thread. As mentioned, I have attempted to have talks in the past. No real success as she tends to withdraw. I am really hoping to find others that can share similar circumstances and ways those couples made it better. Well maybe you could just start by asking if there was anything she would like to talk about sexually. A fantasy she has or wants. Tell her how much you love seeing her pleasured and want to make sure your doing the best job you can so if there is something she wants you want to do it. That could open the door to a more productive talk then if you approach her as if there is a problem.
