This is a sensitive issue... people who have personal photos on a website... and wish them taken down, generaly want them taken down.. the very second they conclude they wish them off.

at the same time.. mods can't hover over the refresh key... and assist people at every moment of every day.. they are doing our community a great service.. and should not be treated like slaves... unless....

Really though rickberry.. there are assholes on every single picture thread.. accept foxy roxy's.... but no one reads comments to her any more, they just look at the pictures...
do a search on the persons previous posts... before you even begin to let it upset you... you'll find.. I think... that only nasty things come from their mouths ever...

Well, I've just had a rummage around in the trash bin to find what rickberry was so upset about, and I have to say that I'm not surprised that he wanted the thread taken down.
I know that the best philosophy is to just ignore abuse, but sometimes it isn't that easy.....

This is coming from a man (?) (?)(?) from whom I would say 75% of his posts have been equally foul. He even had the audacity to post a thread asking for another member to be banned because he didn't find her pictures to his liking!

There's been a bit of banter on this thread about the 'power' and 'authoritarianism' of moderators, but I understand that compared to other sites we are pretty restrained. However, I have to say that if there was an 'Instant Ban' button on my panel, there are times when hitting it would be a reflex action.
This is one such case!
But there isn't, and we don't.

What would you do?....if you had the power!!!.......

My opinion if these people post nothing but nasty comments, after the 10th one they would be gone, there is no reason for the rest of us to have to continually suffer their rude comments. I believe these same people also do the same thing to every story they read, also.

 

yeah, youre right xgamer, omgwtfbbq is a real ass hole, he only has bad things to say whenever he rights anything. He might be the most bitter person i have ever encountered on a site such as this. Hot girls are willing to share themselves and he has comments liek that, maybe he should go elsewhere

 

Mods wont answer too many request if your rude about asking.

Or sometimes mods will get so many of the same stupid requests, that eventually it's better to just ignore it after ther 100th time , it can get real tedious.
especially since mods have so many other important things to worry about than to answer the same type of questions all day.
I mod at another site, and notice the ones who send me questions usually figure it out afterwards, or another mod will help them and it ends up pointless to reply about it.
Mods need the time to help push the site foward, and it's difficult when tiny questions are constanty thrown at them. Sometimes the answer is so obvious it's better to just let the questionaire figure it out by reading the site rules or a help thread that was made for similar tedious questions.

 

I guess Mods must differ from site to site, as I always answer people's requests, and I think it's better for two mods to answer rather than none.

The good thing about this site, is that members who have been here for some time are excellent when it comes to answering questions that are posted on the forum, and this saves me a lot of work!
