  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

Seeing as how the 11th of September is a Sunday, as per usual I will drink myself into oblivion. 'Sauced Up Sunday' is a regular thing around my house and although memories are fuzzy the nexy day, the good times are unforgettable.

OMG I am so tired of hearing this crap, get the fuck over it already! All people do is bitch and whine about it every year this time.

I hope the terrorists attack every memorial service for it in some way, at least then you america loving martyrs would have something new to whine and cry about.

Shit happens, and people die, move on already.

I'm all for remembering and honoring the victims of 9/11.

That being said I think its a big mistake and reveals a rather embarrassing and disgusting tendency on the part of Americans to wallow and howl and cry it great public displays of self pity and victimization just because it happened to us.

And because pulling all our national emotional strings and generating just as much publicity as possible is big bucks for all the media and their advertisers. That's why its on every channel and they are reliving every moment multiple times which makes it seem bigger than the world itself.

It also seems very hypocritical to me and blindly so. But maybe I'm wrong. I guess I can put up with massive pity invoking productions like this for the nearly 3,000 people that died that day. But I actually have a lot more feeling and I believe obligation to the 6,236 US troops that have died in Iraq and Afghanistan since 9/11.

So if you can tell me where and when their memorial is and when the anniversary is and the networks that are going to cover it I guess I'm wrong about the blind hypocrisy part.

Yes, remember those who died on the day.........but don't forget the 60,000 plus who were covered in cancer causing dust from the pulverized computers and lightbulbs.

Don't let your government and health insurance companies get away with the injustices of not compensating the thousands of emergency workers who have now and in the future may be diagnosed with cancer from that toxic dust.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...nded-9-11-scene-19-likely-develop-cancer.html

Still dying from 9/11: Toxic legacy of World Trade Center attack revealed as dust increases risk of cancer by a fifth

**Study refutes Federal claim that there is no link between 9/11 and cancer

**Dust contained lead from 50,000 computers and mercury from light bulbs

**60,270 people at risk from inhaling fumes after World Trade Center collapse

**Last year, 18,462 were treated for '9/11 diseases' and medics fear rising toll

The toxic legacy of 9/11 was laid bare today as it was revealed that firefighters exposed to fallout from the attack are 19 per cent more likely to get cancer.

The emergency workers are among 60,270 people at risk after inhaling dust and fumes following the collapse of the World Trade Center in New York City.

And, almost ten years on, it was also revealed that 18,462 people last year were treated for being exposed to various cancer-causing compounds.

Okay, I know this is the internet, where people can hide behind user names and say completely outlandish shit that they would never have the balls to say in real life, but still, this was uncalled for.

You might not make the statements you wrote if you had lost a friend or family member in such a wasteful way.

You might not say this stuff if you knew someone who has developed cancer or some other health problem while searching for the victims of these attacks.

You might not make light of it if you had lost your job as a result of the financial ruin this caused numerous businesses.

You might not act like such a douchebag if your child, or your friend's child, was one of the nearly 7000 US troops who have died in the wars that resulted from this (and no, I'm not going to debate the worthiness of these wars -- that's another discussion completely), or if you knew someone who has returned from these wars with physical and emotional scars that may never heal.

Or maybe you would. I have no idea whether you're mean-spirited in real life, or cold-hearted, or just an asshole.

I sure don't recall a weeks worth of TV on every channel though. When do read their names every year? How many specials are made for veterans day?

But anyway when's the massive memorial for the people who died after the levies broke in New Orleans? I must have missed that one too.

If you all don't want to remember that day then just ignore the thread... It's a very easy solution...
After the second anniversary of 9/11 not much has been done... I do believe that they are doing more because it's 10 years... There were a lot of innocent lives lost that day, and I believe that they should be remembered...:rose::rose::rose:
