I can't look at this thread anymore. It makes me sick, filled with contempt for certain people and poisons my view of the world and greatly hinders any ability to not see everybody in Europe as being the same as these pieces of shit.

As previously stated; considering you have posted your age on this forum in June this year as 22. At the height of the troubles in Northern Ireland, YOU would not have been born..

It is quite possible that I have forgotten more about the Northern Ireland troubles, than YOU will EVER hope to know. As my uncle was stationed in Belfast during the 70's and 80's, he served with the British Army and was posted to Belfast more than once. Almost every day of his postings he saw action..

 

I think you will find the vast majority of people from Northern Ireland wish to be part of the UK, not Ireland. To suggest otherwise is an insult to the people that live there. The IRA members who thought they could change that through fear tactics, murder and torture to innocent civilians, got what was coming to them from the SAS.

If you think the attacks on the UK were in some sort of retaliation or revenge attack for british rule of what would become ROI, this again shows your lack of knowledge on world affairs and also highlights the racism on your behalf.

Your plan to divide America from the rest of the world is failing. It only alienates yourself. 9/11 effected more than the people from New York. My sister who was pregnant with my niece and her husband were in NY during the attacks, they were safe, but for them it was very much as real as it was any other New Yorker. I agree as well that Krugman is correct in what he wrote ........ but he is talking about assholes in a position of power more than the average person and how they used this as a platform to make themselves look self righteous .

We can still have our cake and eat it too by condemning the likes of George W Bush ........ and still feel for the real victims in this attack .

Very true, there are lots of conspiracies about 9/11, who knows who was actually behind it.... even now, usa is going through a very tough economic recession and they might start a war again to get a recovery in the economy....
