That is debatable and another apocalyptic sign when you are defending him and I am slamming him as I am about to do, lol. He is just as much to blame as the rest of that motley crew they call the Bronco's. If the ball transfer to a back isn't secure, he will have a hard time trying both to run and get a better grip on the ball and bad handoffs were present today as well as Tebow fumbling when sacked. The entire team gets the blame today, offense, defense and special teams. Throw some blame in for whoever was calling the plays as well.

While we are at it, blame the producer for not showing enough of the cheerleaders.:excited:

The Chiefs could win out; if you can knock of the Packers you can beat anybody.

If they do, and the Chargers beat Detroit and lose to Oakland, and Denver loses to Buffalo ... the entire AFC West will be 8-8. Someone else can figure out that tiebreaker!

 

The jets have the 6 seed right now.. The chiefs can only get in via winning their division.. The Jets must win out, or the bengals lose to the jags, but the jets control their destiny

 

The NFC East is in a similar fix, but with Washington eliminated. Any of the other three teams could win the division, but nobody is getting a wild card.

 

Week 17 could be interesting when KC/Den and Oak/SD play to round out the regular season. This is all dependent on next week though.

SD moves to 7-7 with Oakland.

Just remember the words "On Any Given Sunday" and remember it is a one game winner take all in the playoffs and a hot hand can carry you a long way.

AFC playoff possibilities

Patriots, Texans, Ravens, Steelers are in.. Since Pitt and Balt are in same division, they'll take a wildcard spot.. Leaving the west division and the 6 seed..

If Jets and Broncos win out, their in.. Broncos are a game up on Oakland and San Diego.. The Jets hold an advantage over Cincy via strength of schedule, since both have same amount of afc wins.. The Jets can tie only with Cincy of they beat Miami in Wk 17, The Jets CANNOT TIE with any other AFC teams.. But do control their destiny
Tennessee must win out
Oakland holds tie breaker over New York, but is a game behind at 7-7..
If Cincinatti loses to Jacksonville Saturday, and the Jets win vs the giants, then the Jets will eliminate the Bengals..

 

Caleb Hanie is (excusably, since he's a rookie) just not up to QB'ing an NFL team yet. And with Matt Forte out as well, the Bears have suddenly turned into a garbage team. Not many teams can survive losing the star running back AND the only experienced QB on the roster.

Brees needs 304 yards in two games to overtake the "unthinkable, unbreakable" record of 5,084 passing yards in a season.

I suspect that he won't hold that record for long, though (or at least, not with this season's mark. He may break his own record.) Every year, the NFL gets even more pass-oriented, and the trend shows no sign of stopping.


Beating the Vikings with a passing game isn't something to brag about. What with injuries, illnesses and one guy getting arrested, we have the worst secondary in the league. I think we lost six of our starting back four!
