And there's that attitude again. Would YOU want to work knowing your monies are going to line the pockets of the rich? That by the time you have to retire there won't be a pension for you? That most of the jobs are being outsourced to other countries because companies can pay them cheaply and have more lax labour laws? You drone on and on about the "American Dream".. what ever fallacy that is, but the people protesting know that such a thing does not exist. That no matter how hard you work, you will not get ahead. Those days are gone. The protest is about the worker tired of being exploited to fill the coffers of the select few, the select few whom do not give back.

But apparently some think it is entirely their fault. They didn't work hard enough, they didn't save enough, didn't take the right courses..

Several large banks trading in concert manipulate prices. Rather than a true supply and demand price it comes under demand by money trading with no intention of taking delivery of the goods. However it gives a false high than should be price for those buying for delivery to put on your table.

It is so interesting to read the accounts of the protests and look at the results. Political contributions from corporations soared, while people chanted in the streets in front of iconic corporate America. Guess those protesters accomplished something afterall, the guys who really should be held accountable got a windfall.
