I want to thank everyone who participated in my challenge. Unfortunately while I planned to read through all of the submissions this weekend I was unable to do so. On Friday I learned that a friend of mine had commit suicide. Since then I have spent much of my time with friends or otherwise mentally preoccupied. I apologize for the delay and know that it is disheartening for those who participated. Please bare with me as I do my best to read through them all by the end of the week.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Take care of yourself and those around you. It's a tough time. As always, we're here for ya.

 

If anyone cares I wrote a conclusion to the cliff hanger of a story that I started for this challenge. I am tapping out of this due to the trauma experienced by the OP and the fact that I have other things that I want to write about and not have this sticking around as an unfinished project.

Best of luck to the OP and the other writers too bad this ended without a winner. I enjoyed the writing challenge regardless.

Faith is the realm of priesthood and I am certain I was at the end of that line and received only a small portion. :wink:

I do believe in giving everyone a chance and allow their actions to speak for themselves... Otherwise would be to prejudge them. Everyone should have the opportunity to impress or fail.

You never know who is at the other end of a keyboard, so lets just leave this as what was stated. I have moved on finishing my story for those who choose to read and comment on it. I don't think it has anything to do with faith.

Would I write another piece under the same circumstances? I might, part of the challenge to me was writing a character based on such limited information. I really had to stretch myself on this.
